If you talk about Peace, i need a clear definition of that word. You talk about Peace because you get out of your home or workplace in the morning and you go back at night, but roll back to those people incarcerated as political prisoners in Luzira and elsewhere in Uganda, what they're going through and some lost their lives, is that the peace being referred to?

Today we gathered together as Christians in Kampala for the way of the cross. We had a joint mass afterwards whose emphasis was on building peace in our communities. Killing a child who cannot make a difference between left and right, is that peace? Definitely not. We also praise for the bereaved families for strength in this trying moment.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the other camp is attempting to manufacture a false narrative out of political fear. The growing confidence around Hon. @norbertmao in the speakership race seems to have unsettled certain camp. Instead of engaging in fair and open competition, we are now witnessing calculated moves aimed at distraction and diversion. Using individuals from past contests to create unnecessary petitions and noise is not only dishonest it is a clear sign of insecurity. Ugandans deserve transparent leadership, not political games designed to block credible contenders. If the position of Speaker is truly about service, then let it be contested on merit, integrity, and vision not behind-the-scenes manipulation.

A preliminary review of the footage has enabled investigators to identify one of the suspected assailants, and efforts are currently underway to have him arrested. If they can do this in a broad daylight, what happens at night when people are sleeping in their houses? They rape women, they rob people going back home, they kill Boda Boda cyclists and etc etc. All these gangs are known by security agencies and surely how can someone wear a mask openly record himself and attack a person at his home!
