Green Party councillor ‘Baggy’ Khan drives £270k gas-guzzling Lamborghini while running second-hand car dealership and haulage firm Mohammad Baghdadi ‘Baggy’ Khan, 25, was elected Green councillor for Halliwell ward in Bolton last week on a platform that included “I stand with Palestine”. He runs GBR Auto Group Ltd (a second-hand petrol and diesel car dealership) and Beecrown Transport Ltd (a haulage company with HGV lorries). In a 2023 video that went viral after his election (over 3 million views on X) Khan is seen driving a rented orange Lamborghini Huracán Spyder a 5.2-litre supercar capable of 200mph. The Green Party wants to ban new petrol and diesel car sales by 2027, slash motorway speeds, raise road tax and cut parking spaces. Khan says the Lamborghini clip is old and he has committed no offence. The party says he is focused on tackling the climate crisis and making alternatives to cars easier. Is he full of shit?
