We are happy to announce that the Hon'ble Madras High Court has asked the relevant authorities to revisit the approvals given for construction of ramps by obstructing heritage and agamic legacy of Sri Devarajaswamy Temple of Kanchipuram.

We are happy to announce that the Hon'ble Madras High Court has stayed the construction work which was carried out in a manner detrimental to the heritage value of the temple without following proper guidelines.

We have taken cognizance of this matter and have initiated the required legal measures. A cease and desist notice was sent on 18th October 2025 to the commissioner of @tnhrcedept and the Executive Trustee of Devarajaswamy Temple asking them to not proceed with this construction..

Heartbreaking & Contempt of court The ramp from the Kachivaithan Prakaram to the outer prakaram, cutting through sacred prakarams, altering the traditional vasal, destroying Vijayanagara period mural surrounded windows & heritage flooring is unnecessary This directly contradicts the undertaking given before the Hon’ble Madras High Court in W.P. No. 22177 of 2025 that no heritage structure, sannadhi, deity, or mural would be harmed, making the ongoing construction a clear act of contempt
