bear was the villain that is the entire point of the movie….
Van Lathan Jr@VanLathan

@Dmscb6 No. It seems like Bear was a nice enough guy who was just too shy to make something happen. He took a shot in the dark with a stupid wish novelty he bought while trying to do something nice for Nikki. His friends and him DIED for it.

it's not that easy with openclaw though i am not in a mood to do any changes on openclaw because lately it was breaking way too often for me so i will keep it on high

i have a strong feeling that the default model for random conversations with openclaw and hermes should be gpt-5.6-luna on max - luna's costs scale down to ~0 when the task is easy - it can bump it's own reasoning to almost level of 5.6-sol on high terra is a weird place, according to deepSWE at least there is one caveat though: neither openai does not serve max reasoning to 5.6 family via subscription, so i guess i will stick to luna xhigh for now and check if that will suffice

If Keir Starmer does resign, history will look back on his reign and scratch its head as to why the hell he was so hated. On paper, he's probably delivered more to working British people in such a short time than any PM for decades. After inheriting an absolute mess: NHS waiting lists fallen. Worker's rights improved. Rail operators nationalised. Improved relations with EU and improved UK's global reputation. Removed non-dom tax status. Halved childcare costs. Boosted state pensions. Lowest homicide rate in 50 years. Lifted 550k children out of poverty. Immigration vastly reduced. We are in the age of billionaire funded misinformation, whose sole purpose is to topple democratically elected leaders, and insert leadership that favours the wealthy elites over the working people. Looks like the game plan is working...

@ArchitectLoop @Teknium If it's filling up your context with junk you don't need then that's effectively wasting your tokens/money so i think people have a right to be annoyed by it

@Teknium Are people whining about that. It is literally free. People will bitch about anything. Structurally you built a better Waifu engine than SillyTavern. "A Waifu that grows with you." Once I get a cool OLED screen, I basically have Cortana from Halo.

Just want to make this clear: We didn't make Hermes Agent to be a "starts with nothing, you work it all out" agent. This is not the minimalist, start from nothing, agent. We want Hermes to work out of the box for most people. So you aren't spending weeks just getting the agent to work, or have the capabilities you need. This means that yes, there are more built in things then something like nanoclaw or pi, which start with nothing, and you just have to figure it out. That is an intentional design decision. You can from the modest baseline that has capabilities that are likely broader than you need, but not egregious, take it from there if you want to tinker with it. Run `hermes skills config` or `hermes tools` to disable whatever you want. We even have a way to upload your whole "Agent" as a github repo, so you can install hermes fresh with your exact setup again later or share them. We have a massive interface for extensions so you can tinker with it to infinity. But if you don't want to become an agent engineer - with Hermes, you don't have to.

NEWS: xAI staff are being called into meetings with employees from Cursor, and asked to explain their ongoing projects. The company has also carried out more layoffs, including roughly 10 cuts last week from teams working on Grok. Devendra Chaplot, a prominent AI researcher who joined in March and reported directly to Elon Musk, left the company in April. theinformation.com/articles/curso…

@Protox0 @Alistair_McF Thank the Lord they allowed modding with an accommodating server browser. Best I've ever seen. That's what all these "extraction shooters" are having issues with, retention of player base. Let there be 1000 different rules/gametypes, and EVERYONE will find a mode they enjoy.

@wesleytypes @MegaCrit Yep also majority of steam reviews just seem to be about performance or bugs, never about how good the gameplay actually is

> sell 3 million copies in the first week > reach a player peak of over 500,000 > receive universal praise on release So how does Slay the Spire II currently have a "Mixed" rating on Steam? Because Steam user reviews are not really reviews in the traditional sense. Instead, they're used as a bargaining chip to communicate real time grievances with game updates, bugs, and developer choices at the expense of a game's actual overall quality and reputation. This is one of the many reasons why I don't trust user reviews and scores.

Fun fact: LLMs have zero idea how they are configured. They don't know what GPUs they're running on. They don't know what temperature or reasoning level they have set. They don't know if they've been quantized or not. They're just doing next-token prediction. As always.

Prediction: Utility-class CSS (aka Tailwind) is dead in the water. AI is completely capable of writing and maintaining real, well-factored componentized stylesheets. The mass return to semantic CSS is inevitable. I for one am breathing a sigh of relief at the prospect of readable view templates again.
