A homeowner in Cambridge, Maryland, reportedly called ICE on six Guatemalan workers after hiring them for a remodeling job. It’s unclear if she called ICE to avoid paying the workers what they were owed — a practice that has become more common since Trump’s second term began. The arrests were broadcast live for about 30 minutes by a co‑worker, identified as Bryan Polanco. ‘Seeing it is not the same as experiencing it. I’ve seen many videos, and sadly today I had to experience it,’ Polanco said.

A Purple Heart veteran who served this country. Sae Joon Park came to the U.S. at 7-years-old. He enlisted. He was injured in service. After decades in the United States, he left the country under deportation pressure — to a place he hadn’t lived since he was a child. He’s not the only one. In the past year: -34 veterans have been placed into deportation proceedings -125 have been arrested on immigration violations -248 military family members have been targeted This is happening under Trump’s immigration enforcement. No exceptions. No discretion. No carve-outs for people who served. — And here’s where people are going to disagree. You can fight for this country. Be injured for it. Come home. And still be told you don’t belong here. — Some will defend that. — So what exactly is military service supposed to count for now? #DemsUnited #Veterans

Hong Kong: On March 23, 2026, the Hong Kong government changed the implementing rules relating to the National Security Law. It is now a criminal offense to refuse to give the Hong Kong police the passwords or decryption assistance to access all personal electronic devices including cellphones and laptops. This legal change applies to everyone, including U.S. citizens, in Hong Kong, arriving or just transiting Hong Kong International Airport. In addition, the Hong Kong government also has more authority to take and keep any personal devices, as evidence, that they claim are linked to national security offenses. This is what oligarchy looks like. 50 billionaires have spent $433 million to buy the elections in November. 80% is going to candidates who supported a $1 trillion tax break for the top 1% & a $1 trillion cut to Medicaid & the Affordable Care Act. We must end Citizens United.

People ask why I push back so hard on Donald Trump. It's simple: Tyranny requires your fear, your silence, and your compliance. Democracy requires your courage.
