@POTUS I've been living and working legally in the US on an H1b visa since 2007, paying my taxes and contributing to society. But despite my efforts, my family and I are still waiting for green cards due to the massive backlogs.

@POTUS We came legally to chase American dream 15 years back, stuck in the employment based immigration backlog due to country of birth discrimination in immigration laws.

People come to America legally to seek new opportunity, flee oppression, or chase their American dream. That's the story of so many of families. And it’s why we need to expand legal pathways for orderly immigration. We can do this all while limiting illegal immigration.

When there were 700,000+ Green cards available in 2021 and 2022 @USCIS did not issue to Indians who applied for them in 2020 and have already waited a decade and wasted about 70000 visa numbers and pushed the PD 3 years behind for India. Is it not done on purpose ?

@USCISDirector @USCIS Ms.Jaddou, I submitted everything including medicals in Oct’20 and USCIS didn’t take action for 2+ years inspite of my case being current and sent RFE to redo medicals. I shelled another few thousands for their inefficiency and disorderly work, hoping now they won’t sleep on it.

@USCISDirector @USCIS Why the employment based 485 applications submitted in Oct 2020 not adjudicated in the order of filing date or priority date and pushed 1000s into decade long backlog after keeping the applications not processed for 2 years.You broke lifes and dreams of many.

@SpeakSamuel Most of them likely became citizens as soon as they completed 5-6 year stay in the US. While others that probably waited 15-20 years to get to this point. And even more that may not ever get to this point thanks to country caps and undocumented status.

Non-immigrants in greencard backlog awaiting for more than a decade, now for getting visa to travel to home country is tough. Either start stamping within the USA or increase slots. Period
