Driver was 100% in the right here. I can’t speak on UPS, but at USPS the offices are literally covered with warnings about dogs. Letter carriers are constantly bitten by dogs while on their routes.

@supertrucker The driver was all sorts of wrong here. Charging after the owner with his fists up? That driver was an asshole with anger management issues, and I've got a good suspicion he was mean to the dog before, which is why the dog didn't like him.

@LordActonAFool Really? It's pretty common for cities to ask local residents to limit their use of certain resources, such as not using their AC as much during a heat wave or not water their lawn as much during a water drought.

Today in Cali: I'm in Monterey. Weather is lovely. Bungalows are $1.4m, literally. I didn't pass a single building that looks like it was built in the last 25 years. Population has fallen 9% since 1990. All these facts due to "you can't build houses". People should be furious!

IMO, a lot of people don't have a worldview. For them, politics is about gender performance. Andrew Schulz fantasizes about joining the military to fight for his country, but won't set his thermostat to 78°. It's not about civic responsibility, but about performing machismo.

Explain to me why Graham Platner doesn’t have all the leverage here. He’s the Democrat senate nominee. They can’t take that from him. He’s not a senator now so if he loses he’s still not a senator. Unless Democrats pay him millions of dollars, why would he step down?
