The formal Freedom of Information response says costs are not yet determibed/recovery will be pursued...after completion. #WestHampstead need to see all documentation underpinning that certainty.

These roadworks have been a disaster in West Hampstead and they’re expected to go on for another month. Not only have they created mayhem for commuters (exacerbated by the equally as frustrating Finchley Road works) but surely it’s having an effect on West End Lane businesses…

1st day this year there were no @thameswater road works on Finchley Rd from Hendon to Swiss Cottage. @TFL will no doubt start messing with the lights to make my journey harder, they really don't care who they allow to dig up the roads as long as they pay!

Every time we get heavy rain, the drain overflows on Cricklewood Lane. Once again, we are waiting for @thameswater to fix it.

West Hampstead is about to be the place to go for padel
The Homebase site in the O2 centre car park to have 10 courts, clubhouse, sauna and golf pods

Makes you wonder if the O2 centre redevelopment has been delayed a bit

@WH_guy Camden’s planning committee hasn’t yet discussed the revised planning application for phase one and meanwhile Land securities will be looking at changes they can make from the new planning act eg reduced affordable housing…so not surprised to see the padel application.

Meanwhile West End Lane & side roads gridlocked both directions. This not acceptable traffic management. If No active works, why are these in place!? @myldn

@willnorman Genuine question - where a cycle dashed crossing has been painted horizontal ie aligning with a zebra crossing are you supposed to stop for the cyclist? What does the Highway Code say - would be helpful if this was also in TfL campaign eg Belsize Road from Priory Road NW6.

In broad daylight on Finchley Road, right now and nothing can be done. I’ve confronted them, but realistically, only a police or security officer could stop this. We’re witnessing exactly why visible police presence on our streets matters.
If you have parked your bike in front of Waitrose, better check for it.

@joncstone @camdencyclists The ‘consultation’ is silent on anything to improve the bits of cycle contra flow already in South Hampstead ward on Priory Road - presumably as they’re waiting for the money committed by Land Securities (450k) to get their O2 centre planning permission approved.
