One of the biggest mistakes in gaming marketing is how broad we make the audience.
"Gamers" is such a huge category.
Someone who plays Minecraft, someone who plays FIFA, and someone who plays Hearts of Iron might all be gamers, but they're completely different communities.
The more specific you get, the more you actually understand the people you're trying to reach.
And I think that's where a lot of the value comes from.

Not enough, it gets stale.

Stop trying to outsource communities.
If you are in an early phase of your project you should invest into building your own community of believers that cares about your project and believes in the vision no matter what.
Outsourcing creates pressure on earnings and expectations that you wont be able to meet 99% of the time.
I have my own community and YET I'm still telling you this.. If this is not being helpful without asking for anything In return idk what is

Call me crazy, but what if EA removed the XP sliders because they’re laying the groundwork for some kind of online Road to Glory mode next year?
Maybe they’re testing player progression, balancing upgrades, and working out bugs before introducing it. It would also explain the “competitive advantage” comment in the patch notes.
Just a theory… what do y’all think?

We’ve lost a lot of the “social” from social media, as in hanging with our friends & seeing what they’re up to
Heard it called “content media” recently which really stuck with me

We're rolling out a small tweak to boost visibility of your posts to your mutuals (people who you follow back). We noticed this data was missing from the algo and it made your friends appear less in your replies. This resulted in the reply section feeling more like a battleground with people you don't recognize. This should also help clusters form around interests more easily, which many people have asked for.

I'm sorting out an old gdrive shared between me and my editor.
Has raw footage to the tune of about 300gb.
The catch? Most of the games don't exist anymore as it's for all the web3 games I've reviewed in the last 5 years.

Web3 security is tough because our wins are usually invisible. We never get to see hacks that didn't happen. A user dodged a scam cause my @ethos_network review was shown through the @RevokeCash extension. That makes me happy. One single wallet not drained is a win in my books!
