#Manipur : Reports of Tangkhul Militants attacking each other at Kasom li. Authorities must act immediately to prevent further escalation and protect civilians. Viewer discretion advised. @HMOIndia @PMOIndia

@FlorenceGuite_ @indira_laisram Stoping taking innocent life.. Don’t comment once upon time Meetie did this and that..

🚨For decades, Meiteis have waged a relentless campaign to vilify & delegitimise the Indian Army, lobbying aggressively for all Indian Central Forces to be expelled from Manipur & in their place, they demanded UNLF, a terrorist organisation who took credit for killing over 440 Security forces to be installed as the state's de facto "protectors". 🔸️That demand won a shameful victory yesterday. In a deeply alarming & spineless capitulation, Manipur Govt buckled to Meitei hardliners' pressure & refused to dismantle an unauthorised UNLF camp in Nongshum-Khamenlok area. The Manipur Govt justified this retreat with the absurd claim that Meitei civilians feel "safer" under the guns & shadow of these terrorists than under the protection of the Indian Army & absurdly credited the Meitei Terrorists for preserving the fragile peace. This is despite the fact that UNLF acting chairman himself has publicly claimed credit for orchestrating the attack on Khamenlok in which he bragged about leaving several kukis killed, the UNLF-led attack was also captured on video & available in public domain. The same terror outfit, who according to @NIA_India are responsible for the brutal killing & burning alive of Zosangkim, a mother of three at Jiribam. Yet the same government that claims to uphold law & order now rewarded & elevated these self-confessed arsonists & killers as preferred guardians of public safety & indispensable custodians of peace. 🚨The conflict of interest is vomit inducing as Manipur Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam's own brother Krishna Kumar Konthoujam & his wife Shanti Devi are the chief financiers & operational heads of a network of shell companies laundering money & influence for the same UNLF Terrorists under the Look East Nirman Company, registered at Babupura. 🚨According to Enforcement Directorate @dir_ed investigation, which unearthed a "well-oiled" extortion system funding UNLF's terror & Secessionist activities, the present Chief Minister of Manipur Khemchand Singh himself donated in terms of lakhs to fill UNLF's war chest. Other BJP-Congress MLA donors included: •Mayanglambam Rameshwar. •Robindro Singh. •Manipur BJP G.S. Premananda Meetei. •Speaker Thokchom Satyabrata. •Meghachandra Singh. Donation notice of multiple crores were also recovered. According the ED, "This money was collected & used to train Terrorists, wage war against India & execute terrorist attacks". 🚨 When the Chief Minister of the State himself & the Minister entrusted with internal security is named as a donors & kin to the man funding terror camps to wage war against India & execute terrorist attacks in India, the state-terror nexus is no longer an allegation, it is institutionalised, it has moved from shadow to statute. 📢 By endorsing the claim that a Separatist organisation is more competent than the Indian Army, Manipur Govt is directly undermining the Indian Union itself & their action or inaction is a direct affront to India's Sovereignty & Integrity. @VladAdiReturns @madhukishwar @LtGenGurmit @LtGenAshokInf @Spearcorps @adgpi @LtGenDPPandey @GeneralBakshi @MajorPoonia @major_pawan @LtGenAshokInf @RDXThinksThat @LtColAnilDuhoon @elitepredatorss @FrontalForce @frontline_india @MumbaichaDon @mrsinha @MeghUpdates @RTArnabOfficial @defencealerts @republic @vijaita @rahulkanwal @sardesairajdeep @BhallaAjay26 @Tracking_Live @laimacha @LokBhavManipur @AdityaRajKaul @BenjaminMate1 @Arunchauhanhere @Dig_raw21 @IndiaWarMonitor

Patricia Mukhim, Meghalaya's famous journalist, once a friend until she blocked me here, was very open about her sympathies for the #Kuki-Zo community during the height of the Manipur violence. She admits this herself. She also says she was trolled by #Meiteis for it. But here is the problem. The way she frames it, only one side suffered. Meitei lives and losses? They don't seem to count the same way. Now she says she faces “hatred of language” from Meiteis and the right wing. The right-wing part aside, when a journalist repeatedly frames one community as perpetrators, it is not surprising that trust breaks down with that community. And then comes the easy conflation — equating Hindu Meiteis with the right wing. It’s a lazy label that flattens a complex community into a political stereotype. Not every Meitei fits that box, just as not every critic can be dismissed under a convenient tag. Then she talks about “normalcy” in Manipur. Normal, she says, is when people from the hills can come to the valley, not vice versa btw. Normal is when the chief minister can travel to Senapati without guards. So here is a simple question, Patricia. If the Kukis are so peace-loving and the Meiteis are the only problem, why can't the CM go to the hills? Why does he need guards? You wont answer that. Yes, she is right on one point : “many cannot join jobs in Imphal… nothing is normal.” But if we are to mainstream the conversation on Manipur, as she suggests, it cannot be through a one-sided lens. And then there is this. Recently she wrote that two Kuki candidates - Ginminlien and Liangousang - 'come from a community that has faced the brunt of the violence… they are more deserving of applause than Meitei candidates who made it to the UPSC exams.' Let that sink in. A journalist. Ranking merit by victimhood. Saying one person's achievement matters less because of their identity. By that logic, individual success means nothing. Only your suffering counts. For a journalist, the job is balance. Holding complexity. Not picking sides and calling it moral clarity. And she says she belongs to the Moral Rearmament group? What the hell is that supposed to be? #Manipur
