#Delhi,#Churachandpur and #Kanggui📍 From Delhi to the hills of #Manipur, thousands gathered today in protest against the killing of the three pastors. Church leaders dedicated to prayer, service, and peace were ambushed and murdered in cold blood. The pain and anger among the people are deep, but so is the resolve to demand justice. No community should have to bury its spiritual leaders this way.

BRING TONGGOULEN CHONGLOI AND THE OTHER 13 HOME SAFELY. Tonggoulen Chongloi, just 17, finished his Class 12 examinations with flying colors at Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Gamnom Saparmaina, Kangpokpi District. After losing his father, he worked as a daily labourer during holidays to support his family. His aim in life is to serve the nation by becoming an army officer. On May 13, 2026, before he could return home, he was abducted by Tangkhul militant groups—NSCN-IM, SDSA, NPO, and UNC—while returning from work in Senapati. His whereabouts and condition remain unknown. Bring him home safely. @narendramodi @AmitShah @rashtrapatibhvn @nitin_gadkari @JPNadda @tarunchughbjp @rajnathsingh @himantabiswa @PIBHomeAffairs @MIB_India @official_dgar @Spearcorps @adgpi @easterncomd @BDUTT @vijaita @TanushreePande @ShashiTharoor @virsanghvi @KaranThapar_TTP @NELiveTV @republic @themojostory @ukhrultimes @LIANGMAIPOST @tangkhulnews @rlungleng @khanuithotkhon @WungMedia @TheSangaiExpres @PoknaphamNews

If the police had arrested him when he manhandled a woman last month, we would not have reached this stage. Never spare a crime—whether committed by your own kins or clans. Shielding wrongdoing today only fuels the fire that will eventually consume you, somewhere, somehow.

#SENAPATI: The Mao Students’ Union (MSU) has condemned the circulation of what it termed “unverified and provocative materials” targeting the leadership of the Senapati District Students’ Association (SDSA), especially its president Saloni Toni. The MSU further condemned what it described as the “targeting and character assassination” of SDSA leaders through false social media circulation, and urged people not to spread misinformation and baseless allegations. #MaoTribe More: ukhrultimes.com/mao-students-u…

🚨 Disabled student taken as hostage by Student Association in Manipur Crisis Among the Kuki hostages abducted in Senapati is Hengunsei Khongsai, a physically-disabled orphaned minor suffering from Muscular Dystrophy and certified with 38% permanent disability. Despite his condition, crushing poverty forced him to work daily wage labour during school holidays to support his family. While returning from work, he and other Kuki civilians were allegedly kidnapped near Mt. Everest College Gate by volunteers of the Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) in broad daylight even while under police escort and protection. Concerned Authorities must treat the release of Hengunsei Khongsai and the other 13 Kuki Hostages as priority of the highest order so as to de-escalate the presently tense situation in Manipur. #ReleaseKukiHostages #HostageCrisis #Manipur

We express our strongest concern and condemnation over the deeply disturbing allegations that have emerged against Saloni Tony, identified as the President of the Senapati District Students’ Association (SDSA), in relation to incidents that have caused fear, trauma, and outrage among affected Kuki civilians during the ongoing ethnic conflict in Manipur. Among the most disturbing allegations are reports linking him to the assault and mistreatment of women. Particularly concerning are claims that during the UNC-imposed three-day total shutdown (20–23 April 2026), he allegedly physically assaulted a Kuki woman from Hengbung village who was simply operating her small shop to support her livelihood and meet her daily needs. He is also alleged to be among leaders reported to be involved in the kidnapping and unlawful detention of 25+ Kuki individuals from Taphou. These allegations are extremely serious in nature and strike at the very foundation of human dignity, justice, and the protection of civilian life during times of conflict. Student leaders have a duty to protect, not terrorize. Such acts are a complete betrayal of leadership and an assault on basic human rights. Violence against women and the unlawful detention of civilians are crimes that cannot be excused by conflict, position, or ideology. We condemn these alleged actions in the highest terms. There must be an immediate, impartial investigation. If found responsible, perpetrators must face full accountability under the law. No student leader is above the law. No civilian should live in fear of those claiming to represent the public. #𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐊𝐈𝐌_𝐓𝐄_𝐀𝐖𝐆𝐈𝐍 @chinkukimizogin #JusticeForKukis #StopViolenceAgainstWomen #Accountability #Manipur #HumanRights #SDSA #SaloniTony #ProtectCivilians #RuleOfLaw

Social Media Post Allegedly Mocking Slain Kuki Pastors Triggers Outrage, Calls for Action 15 May 2026: — A Facebook post by “Andy Mm’s Videos” has sparked widespread condemnation after it was widely shared with allegations that it mocks the bodies of three Kuki pastors killed on 13 May. The post includes a caption in Meitei script: “Fjna noktharehe Kukiland ywdorena .....” and an image of three men laughing with text overlay “Kukiland fngena nokthare.” An accompanying caption accuses a “Meitei individual” of “shamelessly mocking and showing deep disrespect toward the deceased bodies” of Rev. Vumthang Sitlhou, Pastor Paogoulen, and Pastor Kaigoulun. The three Thadou Baptist Association pastors were killed in an ambush on 13 May while returning from a religious meeting in Kangpokpi District. The post has drawn anger from community members who called it “the utter defilement of grief itself” amid ongoing mourning and a hostage crisis involving 14 Kuki civilians. Condemnation from Kuki Community: We condemn in the strongest terms the mockery of the lifeless bodies of Rev. Vumthang Sitlhou, Pastor Paogoulen, and Pastor Kaigoulun. To ridicule the dead is to abandon basic humanity. Even in this hour of deep mourning and unbearable pain, their deaths are being turned into spectacle. This is not just hatred. This is the utter defilement of grief itself. There is no shame, no limit to the cruelty when laughter is aimed at murdered pastors. Mocking the dead solves nothing. It only deepens wounds and fuels more hate. The three pastors were unarmed men of faith. Their families deserve dignity, not derision. Shame on anyone who ridicules the slain. We demand that platforms remove content celebrating death and that authorities act against those inciting communal hate. Let the dead rest. Let justice speak. #𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐊𝐈𝐌_𝐓𝐄_𝐀𝐖𝐆𝐈𝐍 @chinkukimizogin #RevVumthangSitlhou #KukiPastors #RespectTheDead #StopHateSpeech #Manipur #ManipurViolence #JusticeForPastors #CondemnMockery #PrayForManipur

#Manipur The blatant contradiction between NSUD’s statement and ZUF’s own claim exposes a deliberate attempt to mislead and deflect accountability. While one narrative tries to shift blame onto "internal issues" within the Kuki community, ZUF itself has already acknowledged the involvement of armed operatives linked to NSCN-IM under its own name. This is a perfectly calculated PROPAGANDA designed to shield the real perpetrators & distort public perception. Such dishonest narratives only deepen injustice and insult the victims. The truth cannot be buried under conflicting statements, and those responsible must be held accountable. @NENowNews @Northeast_Diary @EastMojo @EastmojoAssam @assamtribuneoff @STnews1945 @NeBharat24 @IndiaTodayNE @hornbilltv @arunachaltimes_

KSO Sadar Hills Endorses Extended Shutdown, Orders Closure of Schools, Offices, Businesses in Kangpokpi Over 14 Kuki Hostages Sadar Hills, 15 May 2026: — The Kuki Students’ Organisation, Sadar Hills, has fully endorsed Kuki Inpi Manipur’s press statement on the “continued illegal detention” of 14 Kuki civilians and the extension of the 48-hour TOTAL SHUTDOWN. In its press communique, KSO directed a total shutdown of all school institutions, government institutions, and private sector businesses across Kangpokpi District for the extended 48-hour period, effective from midnight 15 May. KSO volunteers will be deployed to ensure “strict and peaceful enforcement,” with all public and private establishments and transport services instructed to comply “without exception.” The organisation warned that non-compliance “will invite consequences” and said it will not be held responsible for incidents arising from defiance. Calling the abduction of innocent civilians “barbaric acts and a direct assault on human dignity and the rule of law,” KSO joined KIM in demanding the immediate, safe, and unconditional release of all remaining hostages. It urged the Government and security agencies to act decisively, stating further inaction would be “a failure of constitutional responsibility.” #𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐊𝐈𝐌_𝐓𝐄_𝐀𝐖𝐆𝐈𝐍 @chinkukimizogin #KSO #KukiStudentsOrganisation #SadarHills #TotalShutdown #Kangpokpi #HostageCrisis #KukiHostages #Manipur #ManipurViolence #ReleaseHostages #KukiInpi #PrayForManipur #NortheastIndia
