#PressStatement Regarding the court decision halting the unlawful panel on the compensation of protest victims: We welcome the ruling affirming that this mandate rightfully belongs to the KNCHR, a position we have consistently advocated for — although it is unfortunate that the Commission almost compromised on this fight and opportunity when its new chair, Claris Ogangah, accepted the position of vice chairperson of the very unlawful panel. Better get a private medical cover than being deducted such amounts for SHA and yet won't get the assistance you need in dire situations
