@roryken2000 Not at all. The beauty is that it’s for NI people - and no one else - to decide their own future. There is a strong national consensus in the UK that that approach is right - across all parties. Given that, opinions beyond that on the future of N Ireland are academic really.

A regular reminder: *A united Ireland would be replacing cross-community power-sharing in Northern Ireland with nationalist rule* That is not a progressive vision, it's throwing away all the progress N. Ireland has made. And all so that one side can "win". It's so wrong for NI.

Most of NI voted remain in Brexit referendum, applying your logic on 1918, NI should've been allowed to opt out of Brexit?
