Hey X do your stuff - last night after the Villa game I dropped my Villa scarf . It’s 53 years old and of great sentimental value having followed Villa everywhere. I was parked on the corner of Park road North and sycamore rd just up from the Wisdom Academy School.

Many, perhaps most, #sinkholes in southeast England have some sort of human influence such as mine shafts, collapsed mines, structural failure in sewers and culverts and washout of subsoil. It highlights the need for good ground investigation.

Well, this is interesting. "Entrance to Subterranean Sand Pit" marked on the Six Inch First edition OS Map surveyed in the 1860s near to the Godstone road collapse. It isn't marked on later maps. It may not be related but would be worth checking out. #sinkhole
