@reddit_lies They always use the word “kiddo”, so disgusting. It’s like they can’t actually call them a child or even kid, they have to have a lighter, “fun” version when discussing their mutilation. I’m telling you calling kids “kiddo” is a RED flag.

Extraordinary to read this article in the Australian by journalist @rachelbaxendale. Clinicians in Cairns were clearly going through the same ordeal as I was - being labelled as ‘aggressive’ and ‘transphobic’ for raising legitimate concerns about gender interventions for minors. I wonder why health minister @TimNichollsMP isn’t more sympathetic to my situation. It was unjust for @childhealthqld to suspend me. A young detransitioner, Fox Varian, has won $2 million damages in a medical malpractice lawsuit, in which she sued the psychologist and surgeon who approved her for a double mastectomy, aged 16. Varian's mother testified that she'd been against the surgery, but was pressured into agreeing because she'd been told that unless her daughter transitioned she was likely to commit suicide. As the floodgates open, and more and more detransitioners sue the clinicians who subjected them to an unregulated medical experiment, gender identity activists will almost certainly continue to ignore any evidence that fails to support their preferred narrative. They'll keep insisting that hardly any transitioned people regret their irreversible procedures, that gender clinicians know exactly what they're doing, that surgeries, cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers are of proven benefit and that minors who're denied these treatments will to kill themselves. All of this is a lie. Speaking at the WPATH conference in 2021, British endocrinology consultant Leighton Seal admitted 'we are doing procedures here where we don’t have outcome data.' A woman from Utah said she felt gender clinicians like her were making it up as they went along: 'Because I feel like we’re all just winging it, you know? And which is okay, you’re winging it too. Adults inside and outside the medical profession sold troubled young people like Varian the idea that all of their complex trauma would be resolved by removing healthy body parts. As more and more detransitioners arrive in court, the public will learn the full extent of the harm done to kids in the name of an ideology. Clinicians performing these 'treatments' will go down in history as barbarous activists who betrayed a sacred oath: to do no harm. But we should never forget how many people outside the medical profession urged these young people on, gleefully assuring them that anyone advising caution was an evil bigot. There are people in elitist professions like publishing and academia, not to mention politicians and celebrities with young fan bases, who did all they could to champion the idea of gender identity, and kept pushing it even as the evidence of harm mounted. They're just as culpable as the clinicians. Too lazy to think more deeply than the fashionable mantras that got them social media likes, too arrogant to look at evidence from anyone outside their political bubble, they've slurred whistleblowers and attacked anyone with valid questions. In doing so, they've created a cultural climate without which this appalling tragedy could not have taken place. @genspect @heterodorx As a parent of a beautiful daughter suffering from gender distress, it is so difficult being able to find mental health supports that are neutral and do not strongly encourage transition as the only path forward. Stories like this break my heart.

@markchristenson @janninereid1 My beautiful daughter is wanting to head down this path also, despite how bad I’ve tried to stop it. It’s just heartbreaking.

I don’t need to watch others because our oldest daughter has embarked on this so I can see it first hand. I can hear her beautiful voice lowered an octave and her singing ability stunted. I can see her starting to develop male pattern baldness on the crown of her head. I can see whiskers in her cheeks that look unseemly even if she was a man. I dread the day when her thinned out vaginal walls rupture and she ends up in the emergency room. I see the aggressiveness that comes with taking exogenous T. Despite these and the nearly endless list of other horrors she is and will always be my daughter. The child who made me a father. The artistic, funny, awkward, smart, autistic, socially-anxious girl who has made us laugh and cry for two decades. I hate this ideology. I hate the people who continue to support it and make it not just possible but easy for her to get T. I hate the politicians who won’t legislate against it. I hate the “doctors” who have violated their Hippocratic oaths. I hate the activists who bully and browbeat people into submission. But I will always love our daughter.

This girl takes us in her testosterone journey. 😞 A journey that is very difficult return from and that many end up regretting. Yes, she's happy now but how do you think she'll feel in a few years. Thoughts? 🫤

@GuntherEagleman @janninereid1 As a parent in a very similar situation I can tell you that it doesn’t matter how hard you fight this and how much you disagree, these kids are going to do what the hell they want. They have the law and the medical profession on their side. So many parents hands are tied.
