Delete this. My science teacher competed for a spot. The whole school was watching the live broadcast. We had a memorial afterwards with everyone in attendance. Stop minimizing what we experienced. It is insulting and gross.

Anyone who experienced the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion, like I did, is probably a bit hesitant to get too excited about the Artemis II launch today. I truly hope our children don’t have to experience such tragedy. May the Universe welcome them and return them safely home 🙏

Valentine’s Day is a rough day in the restaurant industry: Yes sales are up but every year we have 10-20 guys bring their dates/wives to the restaurant and insist they made a reservation (they forgot) then they cause a scene. It’s the same thing every year. So this year we are setting aside an open communal table; 10 seats, and we will seat them all together throughout the night. I’ll share the cctv footage Sunday.

Pro Tips for our brave, truth-to-power media: 1) If every weather event is proof of climate change, that isn’t science. 2) If your “proof” is a computer model with hundreds of discrete assumptions that must all be true for the model to be accurate, that isn’t science. 3) If 60 years of predictions have all proven false, that isn’t science. 4) If NASA, NOAA, EASA, the Met Office, and dozens of Universities change historical temperature records to reflect the current consensus, that isn’t science.
