@Richard_here65 @PatKelly_MP That new rail serves a small part of Canada. VIA serves 8 provinces. It's expensive and empty most of the time. I'd rather see that money put to use helping homeless people. High speed rail is yet another gift to people who can afford the choice of plane, train or car.
