@AllisonPearson I tore my meniscus but was told they won't operate on someone my age so no point in a scan. 18 months later could barely walk. Had to go private. Scan and op in 3 weeks and now pain free.

NHS is rationed. GP can’t refer for scans until cheaper options are exhausted. Someone who has had an accident is referred for physio “but I know it won’t do any good, he needs a scan”, The GP recently resigned in despair and joined a private practice.

@SydneyLWatson Well just for info our second born boy was born at the end of August- walked at 10 months - was the youngest in his class, but also the biggest and tallest by far. Also got a masters degree.

Texan boyfriend just explained that we aren't allowed to have an August-born child, because that child will be the youngest in their class and therefore, when they play sports, will be smaller than all the other kids and therefore will have a harder time. Is this seriously the shit you guys think about? He's not joking either. I genuinely don't know what to do with this. Planning kids around them playing football is so America-coded though lmao. 😂

Ms. @laurel_prolife has falsely accused me of marrying a boss babe attorney who is the breadwinner for our family. The truth of the matter is that we have ALWAYS been a single income family (mine) and have made tremendous sacrifices to do so, in order that our children could be homeschooled by my wife. So when I criticize Allie Beth or Lila Rose for setting a terrible example for women, I have never done so hypocritically. I don’t say all this to brag. In fact, I hate talking about my private life, but this lying gossip has left me no choice. In contrast, Laurel has a job and sends her own children to public school. She has said so herself. Laurel is in fact the boss babe that she accuses my wife of being. I don’t judge her or anyone else for the decisions they make, but I will continue to put forward what I believe is the ideal path for Christian families.

@jennyeclair We need to realise that our country cannot afford to provide things for free for people who can afford them. Our money in is not covering our money out and something has to change.

A writer so successful that today is a day dedicated to him in schools all over the country thinks it is reasonable that he travels for free due to his age. People have to stop taking things they do not need, it is wrong and it is bankrupting our country.

Common occurrence: When pastors call out men directly on their sin, they accept the rebuke and make changes. When ladies are corrected, they are often in shock. Why? They have almost never been told they are a sinner in need of actual repentance. Sad reflection on the church.

@godlywomanhood Any particular woman? My husband of 47 years is a sinner , so am I - we have all sinned. We are all under God's mercy and grace. We all have to confess our sins - does the bible says otherwise?

Every time I’ve mentored a woman, she’ll spend the first hour or so explaining all of her husband’s sins and faults. Then, I will ask her how she is as a wife? They always seem stumped by this question and have a hard time figuring that out.
