Thrilled to share that our project DutchCross won @t1protocol track at @ETHGlobal Trifecta 🚀 Built on ERC-7683, it leverages a Dutch auction mechanism for intent-based bridging, reducing settlement time from hours to minutes⚡️

Hosting devconnect in Argentina could be a great opportunity to show the best of what crypto can offer. Devconnect locations are decided based on: * Quality of local community * Accessibility (eg. ease of getting visas) for our global developers * Availability of suitable venues * Potential to create lasting impact, especially through long-term (both grassroots and institutional) adoption of ethereum applications in the region We would love to engage more! @JMilei

🚨 Action required: After >3yrs of heads-down development, Foundry is en route to our first stable release! Upgrade your installation of Foundryup! 🚨 2025 is looking to be an amazing year with faster and more secure EVM smart contracts! Foundry is a critical part of the EVM development stack, empowering developers through their end to end development lifecycle, from quick builds to deep tests and rich debugging workflows. More importantly, for the EVM to win, Foundry must remain a reliable building block for developers. For that, we must graduate to having stable releases, so we encourage all developers to upgrade their `foundryup` installations. Upgrading is really simple, just run: `curl -L foundry.paradigm.xyz | bash`. ❗Why upgrade? Upgrading ensures your `foundryup` defaults to updating to the latest stable release instead of the latest nightly build. That build is hosted on Github under the `stable` tag: github.com/foundry-rs/fou…. In the coming weeks, we'll be shipping our last few breaking changes to Foundry (e.g., turning off the optimizer by default, which was recently shipped). If you do not upgrade, you will continue to receive nightly builds by default, which may contain these breaking changes. ✨ Prefer nightly builds? You are still able to receive the latest nightly builds by running `foundryup --install nightly` Be cautious — nightly builds may include breaking changes that are difficult to debug without context. 🔄 Switching between versions? Easily manage your installations with: `foundryup --use ` e.g. `foundryup --use nightly`, `foundryup --use stable` ⚙️ And the CI? The foundry-toolchain GitHub Action will use the latest stable release unless you specify the version to be different: github.com/foundry-rs/fou…, via the `version` tag. Huge kudos to legends @gndizzy @zerosnacks @YashAtreya @DaniPopes who have taken over the Foundry torch in the last year.

web3.js
web3.js@web3_js·
Web3.js is sunsetting on March 4th, 2025🌅 After 3 incredible years of maintaining Web3.js, we've decided it's time to pass the torch. With amazing libraries like Viem and Ether.js thriving, we're focusing our efforts on new projects. We will provide transitional support over the next 3 months to ensure developers have the necessary resources to adapt. This isn’t goodbye—it's a shift toward new tools and initiatives, empowering the next wave of web3 development. Web3.js has been a cornerstone for developers building on Ethereum, and we're immensely proud of its impact on the ecosystem. However, Ethereum is growing, so are the needs of its builders. Thank you to everyone who has supported and collaborated with us. Let's keep building the future of Ethereum together 💛 Find out more below 👇

If you don't have a decentralized on-chain price feed, and your project needs one, you have one option: 1. Get one However, here is what many inexperienced projects do: "Ah, we wanna ship though, so we will just use a centralized API with an ownable write function. We can't wait for a decentralized price feed." They will use every excuse in the book for why this is a good idea, and either make a cron script that manually updates the price or use the collateral ratios of a DEX. History has shown us this is terrible. You will be exploited, and you're setting up yourself and your users for failure. If you are a project, please heed the lessons of history. This is the only way we can move forward. Please heed the advice of the security community. If you are a user, always ask, "Where is this protocol getting its prices from?" If they cannot answer or say, "Oh, we use a centralized API" or "Oh, we use the ratio of collateral on a DEX," do not interact with said financial product.
