Interesting data here. When looking at the housing markets declining the most since 2022, they also happen to be where mass layoffs are happening / hot spots for H-1B employees.
Austin, NorCal, Phoenix, Denver. All crashing from peak.
So are the prices going down because the H-1B's are being laid off and becoming forced sellers?
Or are Americans who moved to these locations post-covid getting laid off?

Trump’s former HUD Senior Advisor, Paul Dans, sharply criticized the H-1B visa program during an appearance on The Matt Gaetz Show.
“The H-1B visa program is probably the greatest source of waste, fraud, and abuse in the whole federal government,”
Dans said.
He pointed to Biden-era policies that allowed visa holders access to low-down-payment FHA loans to buy homes for cash-flow rentals, while many young American graduates struggle to afford housing or enter the job market. Dans called for the program to be capped, audited and shut down.
The comments come as the administration moves on immigration and housing policy reforms.
