When a C-130 loses a panel, the @usairforce had two options: 1) Wait 4 years for new tooling. 2) Go to a junkyard, find a wrecked C-130, and cannibalize the part. The workhorse of the U.S. military was being kept alive by scavenging. Not anymore. Today, @MachinaLabs_ robots are forming these panels in a week. A bunch of anecdotes making me think that as @united moves the fleet over to Starlink their ground station partner has cut them off. I know of 5 people on 5 EWR-SFO flights who haven't had wifi in the last 2 weeks, including myself. These are mostly 787 and not yet upgraded.
