What makes this situation downright infuriating is that the majority of Uganda’s salary earners live in Kampala, Wakiso (including Entebbe), and Mukono — yet these are the districts with the worst, most embarrassing road infrastructure in the entire country. Every single day, people waste hours trapped in gridlock, engines idling, burning fuel that is already expensive and will soon cost even more. And we’re supposed to pretend this is normal? That this level of dysfunction is acceptable? How is this okay? How is any of this defensible? Do Members of Parliament actually think about the lived reality of the people they claim to represent when they approve these budgets? Or do they simply rubber‑stamp whatever is placed before them and move on? Because from where the public is sitting — literally stuck in traffic — it’s clear that someone, somewhere, has stopped caring.

Congratulations to the Morocco legal team - truly the greatest strikers in African football history. Who needs a world-class frontline when you have a committee that can score three goals from a mahogany desk two months after the final whistle?

Our Chief Justice has made clearing the case backlog a priority. Since it is a global challenge, courts are encouraging trusted experts to mediate disputes between citizens. - Hon. Nobert Mao @alpeastafrica #GumzoLaADR2026 #NBSUpdates
