No. I'm attracted to people of the opposite sex. Certainly not anyone who has a gender incongruent with their sex. Therefore I am attracted to adult human females - exclusively. Because they have the genitals i like. So I'm attracted to the female sex. I have even really fancied some lesbians.

Stop saying "same sex attraction'". No one is attracted to a sex. They are attracted to people, who may be of a particular sex..Not genitals and chromosomes.

Correction: I got this wrong. The police didn't rule out any possible political motive. However, they did say at that time there was no evidence to suggest a political motive. This was, in my view, a deliberately misleading choice of words, implying they had investigated and found an absence of such evidence rather than that they just didn't know.

@UDKCreator @transwidows @jk_rowling Are you stupid? They are women who were married to men who decide to be women and destroy their marriages and their relationships with their children. Selfish, deviant, autogynephilic arseholes.

What in heck's name is a TransWidow. Is that someone who chooses to be a widow even tho one's marriage partner is still alive? Transsexuals have some aberrant beliefs. But most if not ALL their religious practices are damaging to others including: children, parents, others and society as a whole. In the United States religious practices that damage another are prohibited.

Whilst I understand the detriment to Beira’s Place is real, and focussing on @jk_rowling get clicks it’s a shame that mainstream press coverage of the Amnesty debacle is not also focussing on us smaller groups listed who do not have the same power or influence to defend ourselves

@ThomasWillett9 Nobody forced them Thomas. They realised they were firmly in the shit because they'd libeled a lot of organisations and owed a lot of people massive apologies. They have proved themselves to have no objectivity which, for a charity, is very dangerous ground.

JK Rowling presents a direct threat to freedom of speech. When a human rights body is forced to remove report on transphobia following threats from wealthy individuals, it sends a chilling message to anyone speaking out for trans rights. This is silencing and coercion.
J.K. Rowling@jk_rowling

Translation: oops, didn’t realise people outside our ideological bubble are THIS pissed off about the loss of sex-based rights. We remain implacably opposed to any organisation fighting to retain them, but shove in the words ‘rights of women’ to keep the bigots happy.

@edtchirp Sorry. What rights have been lost? None at all. Or do you think trans people deserve more rights that everyone else?? Another man who thinks women don't need or deserve single sex spaces.

Well Widdecombe was a bigot and a hate-monger, and was a monster while alive. Be an asshole, win prizes for assholes. Conservatives are all about consequences and punishment but they never seem to be due any?
Piers Morgan@piersmorgan

Seeing the despicably cruel, heartless and abusive way that many people in UK and US have responded to the deaths of conservative politicians, Ann Widdecombe and Lindsey Graham, reminds me that the least kind people on earth are ironically those on the #BeKind woke left.

@brucerdity @JohnCleese Oh do fuck off. Beira's place is a rape crisis centre for women. It has NOTHING to do with trans people. For Amnesty to damage its reputation in this way is reprehensible. It's just spiteful cuntery and must be called out.

Sorry Professor Sir John, but you and JK and friends are supporting the effort to torture and eliminate trans people. You're easily sophisticated enough to understand the material and behavioural effects of demonisation of a minority on the basis of bigoted conservative discrimination.

And yet, the lives of transgender individuals and their families have been turned upside by these individuals, having threats to their well-being and having been thrusted into the media circus all because they chose to defend and fight for what was right. You did this to yourself.
Kirralie Smith@KirralieS

Not many people can really understand what it is like to have your life turned upside down because courts in Australia uphold and defend the lie a man can be a woman. I can’t express my gratitude enough for @salltweets and I stand in “Sallidarity” with this incredible woman today and every day.

The Herbert woman is rubbish, small fry in a marginal job. Widdecombe was a free speech enthusiast and wouldn’t want her sacked or cancelled. Scorn is enough.
Jo Marshall@JoFMarshall

The shocking and deeply misogynistic comments made by @aberdeenuni employee Heather Herbert following the brutal murder of Ann Widdecombe are utterly reprehensible. Publicly hoping that a woman who dedicated her life to public service suffered ‘an extremely painful death’ is not only vile and hurtful, it is dangerous. This post has a worrying violent tone that risks normalising hatred and could encourage further violence against women in public life. Ann Widdecombe was not the first politician to lose her life in such tragic circumstances and careless, hateful comments like these only fuel more division, toxicity, and harm in our society. Aberdeen University must take strong and decisive action against this employee to uphold basic standards of decency, respect and institutional values. Anything less would signal tolerance for this kind of extremism within their ranks. Prospective students and their parents should seriously reconsider applying to or attending Aberdeen University until it demonstrates it will maintain proper standards. Alumni: please pause all donations in the meantime; your money should not support an institution that harbours or excuses this behaviour. I call on local political representatives to act: MSPs @LiamKerrMSP, @DLumsden_MP and Reform UK Scotland leader @Malcolm_Offord, plus Scottish Conservative leader @RussellFindlay1 please raise this issue urgently in Parliament on behalf of Ann Widdecombe’s family and all the women she stood up for. This cannot be ignored. Words have consequences. Hateful rhetoric like this must have them too. pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/news/705965…

It seems literally impossible for certain trans activists to grasp that not everything is about them. The only rape crisis centre in Edinburgh prior to the opening of Beira’s Place was run by a trans-identified man who publicly told potential service-users they would be ‘challenged on their bigotry’ if they didn’t agree he was a woman. Meanwhile a ‘non-binary’ man subsequently convicted of rape, and found by the sentencing judge to harbour serious hostility towards women, was permitted to access the centre’s services. Trans-identified men in Edinburgh were better served than women when it came to accessing support after rape or sexual assault. Beira’s Place, which I founded and fund in its entirety, gives women a choice. The female-led, female-centred model of support is provably preferred by most female survivors. We know for a fact that some of our service-users didn’t seek help before we opened, because they didn’t want a male providing their therapy, or for men to be accessing what they needed to feel was a completely safe space. However, if a woman was happy with a male support worker, or with males also using the service, she could of course choose the alternative rape crisis centre. Some men, trans-identified and not, disagree that even the most vulnerable and traumatised women should be allowed to exclude men from rape crisis centres, yet many women see a male-free space and service as the last or only chance of putting their lives back together. It takes immense courage even to pick up the phone to access help after rape. Yet, even at their worst moment, these women told by activists like Willoughby that their priority should be centering his feelings, pandering to his ‘identity’ and pretending that they don’t recognise his narcissism and aggression as a quintessentially male response to not being given what he wants, by women. The simple truth is that no decent male, however they identify, would ever seek to breach the boundaries of women whose sense of self and safety has been shattered by their experience of male violence or rape. 98% of sexual predators are male. 88% of sexual crime victims are female. Beira’s Place exists because I saw an unmet need and the fact that we’ve been so busy since we’ve opened proves, not that women hate trans-identified men, but that this is where women feel safe enough to deal with trauma they might otherwise have had to carry with them forever.
