Staff on @GCRail tonight were excellent after somebody was sadly hit by the train close to Retford. In difficult circumstances communication and customer relations were excellent. Thoughts with the person who was hit by the train and their family.

@currys so disappointed with the service my son is getting after returning his faulty laptop for ‘diagnostics’ - it was only 54 days old and much saved for/needed for A Level studies. 11 days later and no news about where it is or when it might be returned/fixed.

@parcelforce here’s an idea - please can you train your staff to put correct and adequate information on cards that they post through doors? I don’t have a clue where my parcel is, and the tracking number doesn’t work online. A bit stuck!

@JonathanBrash This is positive and needs to happen quickly. The balaclava clad off road bikers in Hartlepool cause so much fear and danger in the town.

Positive answer: “The Government will give police the powers they need to take illegal, dangerous and antisocial bikes off the streets for good, so that they will be able to quickly destroy the bikes that they seize from offenders. We will set out more information in due course.”

Having a shocker, flight home at 2300 last night cancelled transferred to another 5 star all inclusive hotel, now being told no flight today now !!

@supertanskiii They are gorgeous - just a word of warning from a crazy cat lady - if Mum is feral be really careful. Kittens can probably be domesticated, Mum not so much - she’ll use teeth and claws at every opportunity.

KITTEN UPDATE! Cuteness overload, lil black kittens! The mum has at least FIVE kittens. They’re getting brave, coming to my back door. They were so slow earlier, now they’re playful! All the food’s gone, topped up the water, will feed in morning or the foxes will eat it all.

People have asked what I’m going to do after the GE, well, I’ve just seen two, tiny, scared stray kittens in my back garden. So the immediate answer is “gain the trust of the little floofs and become a one woman cat sanctuary”. I’ve put down food. So it begins…

Using Platform 3 at Hartlepool Station for the first time this morning. It’s been a long time coming and it’s great to see it finally open!
