Invest in advanced nuclear to accelerate the energy transition. If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipate!: https://t.co/PGJT9hylBJ

Look again at this dot. That’s here. That’s home. That’s us. No longer pale, but absolutely glowing. My book Rad Future is out now! Let’s build the future we all want and deserve together 🩵

We’re very proud to announce we’ve raised more than $300 million in a new round of funding to mass-produce nuclear reactors! This latest capital raise, coming just six months since closing our Series C, will support the scaling of commercialization efforts as we prepare to break ground early next year on our R-50 factory in Oak Ridge, Tennessee that we announced just a couple of months ago. This round, led by @DraperVC and @BoostVC, and including additional financial commitments from current investors, was put together in just a few weeks. “Micro-scaled nuclear, mass produced for the first time ever can transform how the public thinks about nuclear energy,” said @DougBernauer, our CEO and Founder. “This funding enables us to build our factory and keep to our DOME schedule, where we will achieve self-sustained chain reaction on a reactor designed by, built by, fueled by, and operated by Radiant alongside our partners at the @INL.” Today’s news is a capstone on what has been a massive year for the company. Here are just a few of our team's great wins from just the last six months: · We’ve brought on board some of the best and brightest from inside and outside the nuclear industry, including @RitaB66, the former Assistant Secretary for Nuclear Energy, as Chief Nuclear Officer; Dr. Mike Starrett, as Chief Revenue Officer; and almost a dozen VP and Director hires across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain organizations. · We were selected by the @ENERGY to be the first to test at INL, with testing scheduled to begin this summer – making it the first new U.S. reactor design to be tested at @NRICnuclear's new DOME facility at @INL. · From submission and approval of our Nuclear Safety Design Agreement (NSDA) to submission of our DOE Authorization Request for Kaleidos (DARK) to meet the intent of the Preliminary Documented Safety Analysis (PDSA), we’ve made steady progress on the regulatory front to stay on track for this summer's first test. · We signed the first-ever deal for mass-manufactured nuclear microreactors on a U.S. military base with the @DIU_x and the @usairforce. · We were selected to join the President’s Nuclear Reactor Pilot Program, with the goal of being one of the first to utilize the DOE’s streamlined approval process for deployment of new reactors. · We signed a deal – with deposits – with @Equinix, the world leader in digital infrastructure to purchase 20 reactors. · We were the first reactor company to sign a contract with the U.S. DOE for High-Assay Low-Enriched Uranium (HALEU) fuel for next year’s test at INL. · We signed the first binding commercial contract by a U.S. advanced reactor developer for Western commercial HALEU enrichment services – with @urencoglobal at a ceremony at the U.S. embassy in London. · We announced we will be building the world’s first factory to mass-produce nuclear reactors in a spot where the nuclear industry began: Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The factory, called R-50, is a nod to the historical name of the site and our ambitious mission to scale production to 50 reactors per year within a few years of the beginning of production in 2028. · With delivery of the pressure vessel and the first order of nuclear-grade, American-made graphite extruded in over a decade, we began assembly on our first nuclear reactor – including the Heat Rejection System (HRS) shown above – ahead of startup next summer at INL’s DOME facility. We continue to meet our milestones and remain on track for next year’s startup of our first reactor – the Kaleidos Demonstration Unit (KDU) – at Idaho National Laboratory’s Demonstration of Microreactor Experiments (DOME) facility. Our factory-built, transportable nuclear generators are designed to provide always-on power for defense, disaster response, remote industry, and critical infrastructure—applications where traditional energy systems fall short. Listen to what some of our investors have to say: “Radiant has delivered on their promises every step of the way. Portable nuclear power is going to provide the bulk of our incremental energy in the years to come and Radiant is executing with purpose not just towards turning on their first reactor, but building them at scale in months, not years.” - @TimDraper, Founder and Managing Partner of @DraperVC “Nuclear is the most important opportunity of our lifetime, and no team is as focused on execution as Radiant. They are a force of nature, hitting every milestone on – or ahead – of time.” - @AdamDraper, Partner at @BoostVC “Radiant is delivering a new class of portable, micro-scale nuclear reactors that can provide reliable energy to places where traditional generation simply isn’t feasible. By moving a critical capability from development to real-world deployment, Radiant is building a resilient solution to energy gaps for warfighters operating on the edge. We're proud to back a team building infrastructure that strengthens U.S. energy resilience and mission readiness.” - Mina Faltas, Founder and Chief Investment Officer at @WashingHarbour "This is what the West and its allies needs, and this is the type of team we back. The Radiant team has repeatedly delivered new capabilities, met schedule requirements, and kept costs competitive. The focus is on energy resiliency that moves beyond prototypes to produce measurable operational effects." - Colin Anderson, Founding Partner at @friendsfamilycap and ex-CFO, Palantir "In an industry fueled by more hype than HALEU, Radiant stands out as the exception. The team's ruthless focus on execution and bringing their mission to life through commercial success separate them from the rest of the pack." - @davidu, General Partner at @a16z “Radiant is a leader in the American nuclear startup space, designing reactors essential to our prosperity and security. Radiant’s superb leadership team is laser-focused on execution and regulatory certainty. DCVC is proud of Radiant’s continued success.” - @RachelSlaybaugh, Partner at @DCVC; former Program Director at the Department of Energy’s ARPA-E, where she created the nuclear fission program “Radiant is the most product and execution focused team we have met in the world of new nuclear. In the last six months, they have continued to add world-class hires and are executing at pace towards delivering the first Kaleidos reactor by 2028." - Will Dufton, Partner at @Giant_Ventures "We believe what sets Radiant apart is their regulatory execution. In an industry where timelines often slip by years, Radiant has met DOE milestones on schedule. That's not luck — it's the result of a team that understands how to navigate the hardest part of building a nuclear company." - Hunter Somerville, Partner at @stepstonegroup "We back sharp management teams with the rare ability to deliver at scale. Radiant stands apart as the most compelling and execution-ready platform we've seen in next-generation energy infrastructure." - Grant Hosking, Managing Partner at @AlignVentures As part of this latest capital raise, we also proud and thankful to have received additional investment from @foundersfund , @ARKInvest, Chevron Technology Ventures, and others. For more information on Radiant and the Kaleidos nuclear generator keep following us here on X as we travel on our road to the DOME!

Today, Aalo shipped its first 5 nuclear modules out of our factory in Austin, Texas. This small step is the beginning of something that will become routine within a few years, at 1000x the scale. The modules are now en-route to Idaho, where we'll achieve criticality by July 4th. We'll take this power plant (not just a test reactor) to full power operation in the months that follow, and power what we believe will be the world's first co-built nuclear plant and data center. 2 years ago, we were a 2 person company. Today, we're 100 people strong, and we have line-of-sight on achieving criticality on a reactor that we've built from scratch, within 3 years from founding. We moved into this 40,000 sqft warehouse shell around 1 year ago, and turned it into a pilot factory to demonstrate what we believe the future of nuclear mass manufacturing will become. Huge shout out to the team for all the late nights and incredible effort that went into this. Just the beginning! @AaloAtomics @yasir_fission

JENSEN HUANG: "In the next 6-7 years you are going to see a bunch of small nuclear reactors... we will ALL be power generators, just like somebody's farm." Are "mini" nuclear reactors the solution to the impending energy shortage caused by AI?
