Focus on Real Railway Work, Stop This Drama, Palasa - Ichchapuram Issue! What is happening around the #Palasa - #Ichchapuram section is nothing but unnecessary noise driven by sentiment rather than understanding how railways actually function. Let’s be very clear, Railway zones are NOT created based on state boundaries, they are designed based on operational traffic, route density, freight movement patterns, network efficiency & ......ETC This particular stretch falls on the #Howrah - #Chennai Main line, one of the busiest corridors in the country. Any attempt to reshuffle jurisdiction here is not a simple administrative change, but it’s a highly complex technical decision involving train operation control, divisional jurisdiction, Crew link management, loco deployment, rolling stock examination in/out - C&W, maintenance logistics, signalling/trd coordination and seamless integration of freight and passenger operations. You can’t just redraw lines on a map and expect trains to run smoothly the next day. And let’s address the biggest hypocrisy: If everything has to be divided based on state boundaries, then what’s the logic of having only 18 Railway Zones? Why not create 28 zones for 28 states? Will that improve efficiency? Absolutely "NOT". It will only create chaos, duplication and a massive administrative burden. Now it’s high time for @narendramodi Ji and @AshwiniVaishnaw JI to step in and stop this kind of useless drama. Railways is not a playground for political optics. You are diverting valuable time, energy and huge manpower into issues that don’t solve any real problem on the ground. While core challenges like capacity enhancement, punctuality, and infrastructure upgrades need attention, focus is being wasted on boundary politics. This is not just inefficient, it’s irresponsible. Railways should be run by technical logic, not from emotional pressure. Enough of this noise and focus on what actually matters. @RailMinIndia @IR_CRB #IndianRailways #Railways #EastCoastRailway #SouthCoastRailway #ECOR #SCOR #Odisha #AndhraPradesh #Drama

East Coast Railway is the highest profit-making railway zone in India, headquartered in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. If sections like Palasa-Ichchapuram can be moved to South Coast Railway(HQ at Vizag), why can’t all Odisha regions be brought under ECoR? Some major parts of Odisha like Balasore, Rourkela, and Mayurbhanj etc are still outside of ECoR’s jurisdiction. What’s stopping this rationalisation?

Important update for Odisha! Not a single inch of Odisha’s railway track is being transferred to other states. All infrastructure remains fully within the state. Over ₹93,000 crore is being invested in Odisha’s railway development.

FYI....Your own constituency Baleshwar comes under Kolkata based South Easter Railway. We know you guys are incompetent, you cannot transfer an inch of Odisha tracks from SER to ECoR. Useless folks representing Odisha.
