@OussamaAmr3498 @LookAtMyMeat1 Compared to what was promised and the amount of “dev time” that supposedly went into PvE overwatch PvE is horrid.
English

@LookAtMyMeat1 Overwatch quite literally has like several PvE modes

Valve is about to spit in Blizzard's face
Deadlock UA@deadlockua
New "Internal" Mode #deadlock Valve is planning to add a PvE mode to Deadlock. It will likely consist of missions where you have to fend off waves of a new enemy type. These missions are somehow tied to the game's lore and will take place on smaller, contained maps. By completing these missions, players will be able to earn character skins.
English

@StormslayerDev I remember physX literally melting computers on planetside 2, Good riddance.
English

Hell yeah, physX was cool as fuck! Please go back.
I haven't seen destruction this flashy and complex in an entire decade.
NikTek@NikTek
can't they use AI for better things like making realistic physics simulation, you know make games actually feel realistic instead of adding an AI filter on top of them.
English

@InfiniteGrunt @snickersigl Even compare destiny1 and 2 to modern cod titles/ battlefield titles and there’s a clear difference in speed and fluidity
English

@InfiniteGrunt @snickersigl Compare any halo game before halo 4 to any modern call of duty game, apex and even battlefield 3/4, newer battlefield titles and you’ll actually see how slow and sluggish bungie game movement and combat systems are.
English

@Scribbles69 @bunnyauras 40 hours playing with a decent 3 stack vs 40 hours playing solo land you at completely different spots lmao
English

@InfiniteGrunt @snickersigl Sure but marathon gunplay and movement lacks a lot of depth (when compared to something like apex) even if it’s “more in depth than most” it suffers from the same sluggishness halo 1 - 2 - 3/odst, reach destiny and destiny 2 suffer with.
English

@Over_Creation @snickersigl Marathon has been out a week, the community has shown how deep the mechanics can be. Even if it’s not quite as deep as Apex, it’s deeper than most.
Apex falls flat compared to its predecessor, so I really wouldn’t consider it that good. I personally find Marathon far more fun.
English

@InfiniteGrunt @snickersigl Right but are things that apex does better/is more in depth with (namely gunplay and movement) that marathon really lacks.
An almost limitless skill ceiling with movement is a lot nicer than what marathon offers atm, not to mention stats and loot are wiped every season.
English

@sham_exe Starkiller is literally the only nigga here that’s valid enough to rock a buzz cut like that
English

@InfiniteGrunt @snickersigl Much deeper than apex in what ways? Because I’ll agree with everything other than Movement and gunplay, which marathon lacks a lot of/isn’t as responsive or as in depth as something like apex.
(Loving marathon btw. By far my favourite extraction shooter)
English

@snickersigl As someone who worked on Apex, I can promise you that’s false. Marathon is much deeper than Apex has ever been. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but let’s be honest.
English

@SynthPotato If this game has PvP and the same in depth combat system (or something similar) to for honor it could potentially be a massive game with an extremely long lifespan
English

@Rooster_Eater @InfiniteGrunt Unfortunately I’d rather be the biggest marathon dick rider than the slightest of a destiny fan atm, I feel sorry for you.
English

@TatsunokoCroi @Dominos_UK “Boring modern parts” idk blasting people with the glock was some of the most fun I’ve had in assassins creed games lmao
English

@Dominos_UK Everyone hated him because they wanted to skip the boring modern parts and get back to the cool history.
So they responded by killing him off
and replacing him with even more boring modern day stuff, to the point where we miss him.
Like Star Wars Prequel nostalgia-syndrome.
English

@Over_Creation @PlayHighguard I ont know man i just got this pc like 4 months ago
English

@thetistictype @PlayHighguard Is 2026 why do you not have secure boot and tpm 2.0 enabled? Nearly every modern game nowadays requires it
English

@Onepeg @Professorbroman Wrong. The runners consciences is based on earth still iirc, with small FTL ships that are sent from earth to orbit around tau Ceti being the “hub” for your runner, we haven’t stepped foot onto the marathon yet.
English

@sevenout @Goosewasinuse And yet marathon is still doing as well as titans like cod and battlefield on steam charts, let that skin in.
English

@Goosewasinuse Marathon just lost 25,000 players since YESTERDAY. Not good when the leading install base is PC @ 75k players on average, and the game launched five days ago. The game is down 43% from its launch peak of 88k players. That means 43% of people who paid $40 for Marathon are gone.
English

@gopnikjaques @nucalrunner @MarathonTheGame It’s not that you don’t enjoy marathon it’s just that you don’t enjoy extraction shooters as a whole. Marathon is unfortunately not the game for you, you can keep up to date with the story through YouTube videos and others posting on various sites. No one is forcing you to play.
English

@nucalrunner @MarathonTheGame There are a few games I have that are built like this that I don't have a problem with... but Marathon was something I played back in the day and loved the story. So please, don't give me this, "why did you buy" shit.

@Over_Creation @AnonimoMortaja @MarathonDevTeam I agree when it’s intended but this wasn’t intended and was making the other options pointless to do and making the map have a predictable flow with everyone fighting over this exploit spot it’s a great fix
