There’s something powerful about watching young people step into leadership for the very first time. Today, I saw students with vision, passion, and determination take the mic — and it was nothing short of inspiring. 🙌
As Charlie Kirk said, “If you believe in something, you need to have the courage to fight for those ideas – not run away from them or try and silence them.”
Our students are living that quote. This is a new chapter for Stratford High School — and I can’t wait to see what they build from here.
Many thanks to the @clubamerica_shs students and adults who helped organize this and special thanks to @KenPaxtonTX, @MichaelBerrySho, @KennethRWebster for coming out and speaking and encouraging these kids. Very inspiring words!

As an SBISD board member, proud parent, and Stratford alum, I can’t wait for tomorrow’s rally. 🙌 Our students are brave, passionate, and determined. They’ve faced challenges head-on, stood strong in their convictions, and shown what true leadership looks like at such a young age. Threats or intimidation against students and teachers have no place in SBISD—student voices deserve to be heard and respected. A huge thank you to Mr. Barnes and our amazing teachers for stepping up, to everyone working tirelessly behind the scenes to make this happen for our students, and to @KenPaxtonTX for always being there for our Spring Branch ISD community.
