🚨 Big news for the littlest New Yorkers: 2-K is coming.   Starting this year, we’re delivering 2,000 FREE child care seats for 2-year-olds across our city.   By Fall 2027, we'll be ready to serve 12,000 kids.   Grateful to our partner in this work, @GovKathyHochul, for her support.

Congratulations to the Queens finalists for this year's @Minecraft Education Battle of the Boroughs competition, who will compete against their @NYCSchools peers across the 5 boroughs at the #NYCVideoGameFestival in May! 🏆 Elementary School Winners - PS 239Q The Furious Firebirds 🏆 Middle School Winners - P.S./M.S. 200 - The Magnet School of Global Studies and Leadership 🏆 High School Winners - Young Women's Leadership School The 2026 competition received 678 submissions from 3,390 students, adding to the more than 10,000 NYC Public School students who have engaged in the competition since inception.
