NEW SCAM BY OLA DRIVERS IN BANGALORE Extremely disturbing experience with an Ola ride today from Majestic to Jalahalli, Bengaluru. The ride initially showed a fare of ₹285 in the Ola app. However, after reaching my destination, the driver showed a bill of ₹5950 on his phone and demanded that I pay the full amount. He claimed that I had cancelled some old rides and that the amount would be deducted from his account if I did not pay. When I tried to explain that my app clearly showed ₹285, the driver started becoming aggressive and repeatedly insisted that I must pay ₹5950. Since he was speaking mostly in Kannada and I am not fluent in the language, the situation quickly became stressful and difficult to manage. I then contacted Ola’s emergency support through the app expecting immediate help. Unfortunately, the response from the support representative was extremely disappointing and dismissive. Instead of trying to understand the situation or deescalate it, she repeatedly questioned whether it was a “safety issue”. When I explained that please consider it as unsafe and that I felt unsafe, the representative responded in a rude and dismissive manner and abruptly disconnected the call stating that it was “not an emergency”. At that moment I was left alone to deal with an increasingly tense situation with the driver. Fortunately, my house owner arrived at the scene, understood the situation, and advised the driver that we should go to the police station to resolve the matter. I followed him on his bike while the driver followed us in the cab. However, midway the driver suddenly rerouted and fled the area. This entire experience was extremely stressful and raises serious concerns about: • Fare transparency on the platform • Driver conduct • The attitude and responsiveness of Ola’s emergency support team An emergency line that dismisses passengers during a tense situation defeats the very purpose of having a safety feature. @Olacabs @bhash @BlrCityPolice Can you please help with this situation. I can share all the details.

A spectator who was in the Narendra Modi Stadium on match day shows the decrepit state of the last row, with almost all the seats and wall encrusted with pigeon droppings. This is a peculiar phenomenon across India - nothing is maintained properly or regularly. When I visited Kochi's waterfront this year, it was sad to see the pristine buildings from my 2013 visit looking unwashed and aged. In contrast, Sydney's Opera House looks as good today as it was decades ago. The buildings in Auckland city centre are shiny and new as ever. It's not for lack of money - the @BCCI has billions in the bank and billions more pour in each year. It's due to the Indian disdain for aesthetics. @GCAMotera @JayShah Gujarat leads in infrastructure, so what happened here?

A fruit seller in Mumbai, was caught applying Ratol paste on fruits to protect his stock from rats. Ratol contains 3% yellow phosphorus, a protoplasmic poison that is rapidly absorbed when ingested and can be fatal, especially for children. It’s unlikely he is the only one doing this; he’s just the one who got caught. This may well be a more common practice than we realise. So be cautious. Add this to your survival guide for India, and always wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly before consumption.

Anjel Chakma, a 24 year old MBA student from Tripura and the son of a BSF constable, was studying in Dehradun when he was attacked after being subjected to racial slurs while buying vegetables with his brother on December 9. He fought for his life for 17 days in the ICU before sadly passing away. Five accused arrested. One reportedly fled to Nepal. Northeasterners are Indians. Every Indian is equal and has the right to live peacefully in India wherever he wants. Hope the criminals are given the strictest punishment to set an example

The biggest winner in the ongoing #Indigo crisis is @makemytrip It first made us book indigo flights.. charged "convenience fee". Then retained their fee when tickets were cancelled by Indigo. 700 rupees made on every ticket! Indigo cancelled some 900 crore worth ticket and MMT ciphoned 80 crore plus in this scheme. Is @DGCAIndia And @jagograhakjago Noticing this giant scam on already rattled customers? Comment if you have experienced this from @makemytripcare too. We need to take action against them.

🚨 BIG! IndiGo pilots have issued a scathing open letter targeting the airline’s leadership, BLAMING the CEO, lack of real talent, and a culture of greed and “too big to fail.” They allege ground staff earning just ₹18,000 were doing the work of three people & say a 70-year-old “playboy” REFUSES to RETIRE as the crisis deepens.

Even I was not believing my conspiracy theory of the Red-Green cabal (CCP-Turkey/Qatar) influenced Deep State behind the Indigo fiasco until I stumbled on some CCP's "Yoga comes from Kungfu" guy's narrative.

Protests by January. I can tell you some airline issues won't be solved before February of next year. It will be blamed on the government for causing public disillusionment. To turn the anger against the govt and cause massive protests. Rail travel too will become horrible soon as crowds mob trains too from the poor to the rich - as too many flights are cancelled. Hitting and stalling transportation system of a large country using insiders (like a foreigner running it), and system hacks is the sure shot way to cause public unrest in every class of citizens - rich, middle, and poor. Add in a plane crash and a rail accident, which can be caused by sabotage from gps shifts to signal hacks, some medical issues, and misinfo fed to farmers & teachers, we are looking at massive protests by January from common citizens, farmers, medicos, teachers etc. Deep State operates thus. Government must prepare.

This company knew what it was doing. Took money from customers months in advance. Made money on that parked money. Cancelled flights exactly during Putin's visit when PMO will be busy. But heard ran its international code share flights with Turkish airlines. Created issues to steal the spotlight from the Russian president's state visit in Indian media. Harassed the govt during this Russian visit which the west and the DS, that run the war in Ukraine, don't like. By creating a public issue by keeping customers hostage at airport saying "flight delayed" for a day or more. And takes more time to refund money after confirming the cancellation. Increased prices drastically for the small number of domestic flights it operates. It arm twisted the govt to roll back safety rules benefitting passengers and airline crews by creating an immediate crisis. There was also a coordinated mass psyops campaign that made everyone blame the govt and dgca for everything this airline did. People who don't even know what the issue was about are doing this automatically. Not blaming the people who think thus. But won't blame the govt too much on this. It seems a well planned hit job. Once Putin visit is over, I hope the PMO, HMO, and concerned ministries take strict action on the airline and its promoters. End its Turkish airlines code share. And make it fire its foreign CEO. Then take the owners to task. Break the airline into three. Like the US broke Bell AT&T telecom company. That is the best way to deal with this. Also be prepared for and preempt any sabotage that brings down another plane to blame it on "pilot error" again and then on DGCA relaxed rules to pin the GoI.
Aravind@aravind

"Everything is DS. What is govt doing?" Wait, a private company with a foreign CEO will suddenly stop services exactly when PM is busy hosting Putin, not two days before or after. Will still serve their profitable international side of business without any issues, but make Indian public suffer all around the country, arm twist the govt to relax rules for rest of our hardworking people putting public in danger. But we have to blame the govt for this and somehow make them responsible for the situation created exactly at this time suddenly by a private company? Sure. What we should blame the govt for is the iron hand of the govt is not acting on this hostage situation, removing foreign ceos in critical sectors of India in time, and giving into such terrorist demands to help the public. Tomorrow, if god forbid, an accident happens, you will still want to blame govt for not giving enough rest to the hardworking employees. And this catch-22 is the plan.

When you get late, you are made to pay. When airline gets late, you are forced to pay. IndiGo cancels flights by the hundred. No hotel vouchers, no meals, people sleeping on airport floors. Who pays for missed work days, connecting flights, mental harassment. DGCA & MoCA asleep. Can the govt not make Indigo pay? Why should people suffer while the airline makes profit.
IndiGo@IndiGo6E

The last two days have seen widespread disruption across IndiGo’s network and operations. We extend a heartfelt apology to all our customers and industry stakeholders who have been impacted by these events. IndiGo teams are working diligently and making all efforts with the support of MOCA, DGCA, BCAS, AAI and airport operators to reduce the cascading impact of these delays and restore normalcy. We continue to keep our customers apprised of any changes to their scheduled flights and advise them to check the latest status at goindigo.in/check-flight-s… before heading to the airport. IndiGo deeply regrets the inconvenience caused and remains focussed on streamlining its operations at the earliest.
