Not sure what is a bigger challenge right now between fending off all the people vying for my time or my (JRBs) money.

We raised $10M to K*LL UGC ads. Marpipe (built in collab w/ Meta) unlocks a hidden ad type that drives ~200% better ROAS than UGC. If you're an e-com brand, Marpipe can make you $100k+ in 30 days. Bold claim? Let me prove it 🧵

I CAN'T STAY SILENT ANYMORE. I'M BEING PUBLICALLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. This is not a political post, but I need to share how I'm getting targeted IN THE ECOMMERCE COMMUNITY nonetheless. I've done countless public webinars with ZERO pitches, and THREE TIMES PEOPLE HACKED OUR ZOOM AND PUT UP SWASTIKAS. Happened again today. Today was my last straw on not speaking up. I was born into a beautiful Jewish family that I love very much. There's a lot going on in the world right now. It's complicated and not easy for anyone. This is about how we treat our fellow humans. I'm just a dude trying to help. Why are people adding swastikas to my fucking online events??? Anyone denying antisemitism is oblivious, but I also don't blame them if they don't have exposure to antisemitism. I support anyone with a positive intention, whether I agree or disagree with their perspective of the world. This is not just about antisemitism, it's ALL discrimination. If you see it but don't speak up, you're part of the problem. We need to condemn any form of discrimination. I was born to a family of immigrants who had to flee for their lives to the United States 60-70 years ago. If you see antisemitism or any descrimination, speak the fuck up, for all of us. I'd never expect this from the Ecommerce community, nonetheless... It's shaped who I am, I give back everywhere I can, and being born the way I was is no means of stopping me in supporting the community. Lastly, don't pity me. I'm just raising awareness about how much antisemitism exists in the world. Also, how is @Zoom so insecure that it can be hacked at any time, and names get randomized??? Am I the only one getting targeted out there?

Not sure what my use cases are for the Meta Ray-Ban glasses, and they’re definitely slightly dorky… …but they’re an objectively impressive piece of hardware.

With climate change and political climate change, what are going to be the best markets on the planet in 20-30 years for vacation homes. Aspen, palm beach, Malibu, etc all destroyed the equities market returns (in most cases) and you could enjoy the time there.

Hosting your first offsite takes most founders a long time to get to. But this one did it in under 2 years. Patrick Cleary, President and Co-Founder of Paul Street and a key member of the founding team at @wayflyerapp, shared the BTS of building not 1, but 2 transformative businesses on our latest episode. From driving partnerships and growth strategies at Wayflyer to scaling Paul Street into a leading affiliate-focused marketing agency, @Paddyclearly's not scared to redefine how brands grow and scale. In this episode of @turningpropod, Patrick unpacks how it all went down hosting his first team offsite with over 20 employees, how to balance profitability with growth, the power of compounding networks, and more. Don't miss out on hearing from the Director of Partnerships of a billion-dollar company. We breakdown... → How a simple conversation turned into a multi-billion-dollar company. → How Wayflyer became the fastest-growing Irish startup ever. → Why Patrick left Wayflyer to launch Paul Street. → How networking built Patrick's career and 2 companies. → The one thing most agencies get wrong when trying to scale. → How to delegate and build a high-trust team that operates without you. → Why Paul Street is obsessed with retention. → How a company offsite made Patrick realize he had built something special. And much, much more. Check out the full episode here: youtu.be/vvbg86u6PLk

I’m going/planning/paying for 10-15 events, dinners, meet ups around the US/World in 2025 with the businesses moving still and wife and 9 month will be traveling as well. (Here's me in an underground brewery in Barcelona) Here's why: It's fucking magical to get in person! I've been in the event space for 9ish years now and have been involved at every level Funding on it Hosting at it Speaking at it Sponsoring at it Choosing content / speakers Selling Sponsors Coaching Sponsors to speak And lately I’ve realized that we've completely lost the reason when it comes to building real connections with people – IN PERSON. Not because we don’t want to… you just literally can’t connect with somebody on a Zoom call when you’re both only half paying attention - getting slacks, emails and animals nagging. So once you get out of the regular day-to-day to fully immerse yourself in something bigger while being around people who truly GET you do you truly understand the magic behind these events. Everyone at these are there for the same reason. There's instant common ground because you're all facing the same challenges and looking for the same answers, but now you’re doing it with this feeling of togetherness that cannot be found online. Content is important BUT the REAL value isn't from the sessions It's in the little moments between. Random convos at dinner. 2am talks in the hotel lobby. The "holy shit you deal with that too?" moments that only happen face to face. (Here's me throwing a massive party in a club in Kyiv) That spark doesn't happen on Zoom That connection doesn't exist in Slack That energy can't be replicated remotely Yes it takes you away from work. Yes it messes up your routine. All that can wait. Work isn’t going anywhere. Get out of your bubble and into the rooms with people who genuinely want to know about what you’re building That's when the entire vibe toward what you’re doing shifts. Trust me on this one. Join me in Miami in April Join me in Greece in July Join me in San Diego in September I promise you It will be a great experience the people will not be douchebags and the content and conversations will be incredible. (here's a photo of me riding a camel in dubai)

Ran my second Hyrox event last weekend (pro singles) and it went great. Hyrox is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, and we have a partnership to sell Haven bags at the events (it's going great). Loving the work/life crossover of this. Full breakdown vid in the replies.

I’m in literally 50-60 slack channels across different teams. Especially if you’re remote — Celebrate the wins louder than you Correct a fumble I’ve asked a lot of founders how they highlight wins or losses and some say they do private slacks or an auto app in slack that sends kudos and some just say  “No, it’s a waste of time.” This couldn’t be a worse take. You have to do it publicly. You have to put them on a pedestal. Let the team know they can brag and it not be viewed as cringe or tacky The confidence will create more confidence which creates even more confidence Correct in private. Celebrate in public.
