@SteffenMeilsoe @tobi @Shopify @claudeai Yes you can do that make a mcp then claude can do the changes it self but it takes a lot of credit.

I wonder why @tobi and the @Shopify team haven't added Sidekick to the code editor yet? Right now I am using @claudeai code to make changes to the liquid as needed, and then updating files, but it would be goated to just connect my CC into the code editor

@gogetemtigers @dannyjpwilliams @gogetemtigers Honestly, I've figured out how to code with the Claude. as themes the most important things are the page marings and page width the spacing variables. ping me if you need help regarding that automation

my quick hack workaround for Shopify is to have a shit template that has all the sections etc that a good figma output would have but the shit page works with all of the liquid theme stuff of your current theme. Claude code can then work with that structure to take the figma and put it into the right code

Claude Code → Figma Design... I can’t help but think… this feels backwards... right? 🤔 As a designer, the last thing I need is more* Figma files... The real friction today isn’t: code → design. It’s: design → code. The most exciting tools in our space aren’t turning code into static mockups. They’re helping designers ship. Agentation -> @benjitaylor skills. sh -> @vercel Artifact -> @shopify design team All of them push in the same direction: Fewer static artifacts. More execution. More experimentation. More craft in production. Design isn’t about files. It’s about bringing ideas to life. Figma’s real opportunity isn’t becoming better at reconstructing UI from code. It’s enabling a fluid, high-quality, low-friction path from canvas → live product. Otherwise? We risk watching @figma slowly become @Adobe... the irony! Strong opinion. Loosely held. But I think this moment matters. What do you think?
