Fourth day of Monad mainnet – Potato recap! 1. $MON price We saw the first correction of the $MON price once it fell below 0.04. There are two narratives now: - First one claims that because there’s still no Binance listing, we could go higher. - Second one claims that due to no wider MONAD airdrop (e.g., for testnet users), Monad is struggling to attract a broader community to use the chain, which brings us to point two. 2. Most NFT collections cannot mint out This is a big problem. When the core Monad community is only around 5,500 people and NFT supplies are 5k+, who TF has the money to mint 20 collections? People will mint those they believe in or the free ones. Since not many people got "free money" to gamble on Monad mainnet, it's hard to push MEMEs and NFTs higher. Looking at the positives - free mints seem to be the key to success! All free mints have a nice floor price (even higher than the mint price of paid ones, which barely reach 20% minted). 3. MEMEs – o kurwa Yeah… as I said above, since there aren’t many people with money to gamble, memes are struggling to reach solid MCAP. After yesterday’s $CHOG activation drop and the whole drama with “snipers,” $CHOG fell from 10M to 5M MCAP, and all other memes followed. The HUGE Chog airdrop probably didn’t help maintain the MCAP, as people lost faith when the most hyped project had issues with its meme. I hope it didn’t kill the CHOG NFT vibe, but we’ll see. 4. Apriori drop I’ll just say it: I jeeted it and got 5 times more $$ than from $CHOG as a chest holder. 5. Monad Momentum exists? Honestly, I don’t see anything on my timeline about the Momentum program. The thing that should attract new users seems to have lost its momentum, hehe. Only @KuruExchange has some rewards, but it doesn’t work properly and only works with their wallet, which raises some concerns. 6. Monad staking I’ve staked some $MON to the official Monad validator and to all three LST projects: @MagmaStaking / @Kintsu / @0xFastLane . Now I need to find a good place to provide liquidity.
