I might lose. I might not. I avoid debates with people I don't want to talk to, or on subjects I don't want to debate, or with people I think are bad-faith actors, and with everyone who tries to bully me into debating them. I've been perfectly clear about this for my whole career

Eat somewhere else. If I'm expected to tip, I'm going to eat where someone comes to my table and asks what I want, brings it to me, asks if I want desert, clears the table and brings me the check hem I'm done.
Tipping is for places where the wait staff gets below minimum wage in anticipation of making more in tips.

Genuine question on a restaurant situation:
You walk up to a counter to order.
You find your own table and seat yourself.
If you order coffee, they hand you a cup and you go fill it up yourself.
If you order food, they hand you a buzzer and when it goes off, you go pick it up yourself.
