Ahhh I see what's going on! So, 'Get Started' takes you to the page that you're already on. So, you'll want to click 'Sign up' on that page and you can start the process for a production account. I can see how this is confusing though, so I'll pass some feedback to the relevant team.

@PeterHaggett @PaddleHQ Hey, please find the attached screen recording, the Get Started page is not loading. Also I am away from the desktop, but in the console I could see some RSC errors. Thanks.

@PaddleHQ I am unable to login into my Paddle account and the Get Started button on the website is not responsive. Please check this, currently I am using a sandbox, but this really doesn't build the confidence.

That's not something that we support right now I'm afraid - but it's certainly good feedback to consider for the future! In the meantime, I've seen a few third party products that other Paddle users have built around this use case. I can't specifically vouch for or endorse any of them, but it's always fun to see what people are building to bring their own take on our product.

I hate that @PaddleHQ doesn't have an app that sends you notifications when a purchase is made.

Hey! Peter from Paddle here, always appreciate feedback like this. So I have some good news for handling cases where buyers have missed the VAT input. These transactions can be revised to add that information using this endpoint: developer.paddle.com/changelog/2024… We're also about to release this as a self-serve journey for buyers to use via Customer Portal. We're always looking to optimise the checkout journey itself to avoid initial confusion, but no specific updates here at the moment.

hey @PaddleHQ the biggest issue I have with your checkout is that my clients can't find the VAT ID input I just tried the new one-page checkout to see if it's any better, but I can't find it

@PaddleHQ this happens so often. There must be a better way to layout the invoice page, or have a different line on their credit card statements to prevent this.

@PaddleHQ I was just wondering if you made a customer portal to cancel and update the payment method. What stopped you from adding features like upgrading /downgrading or pausing/unpausing subscriptions?

@clamentjohn @PaddleHQ Hey CJ - definitely something that I'd want to investigate here! Would you mind DM'ing me and we can see what's going on.

@PeterHaggett @PaddleHQ Already tried that, the one-page overlay will then not display any product info text. Just numbers without explanation. It cannot fallback or trim spaces.

Hey @tiepvuvan - I'm sorry to hear about this. Having checked, I can see that Support are on-it, which is a start. But if you'd like to have a call, I'm always looking for candid feedback from Sellers. Both to run through your legitimate annoyance at this and to talk about an ideal state for payouts in the future.

@PaddleHQ 2021: Accidentally deleted our business account. 2024: Typo in company name causing payout issues. Please automate more to avoid human errors, or we might need to look at Stripe or Lemon Squeezy.

Interesting! So we differentiate between your legal company name and the one that you want to display to buyers, but not on a per-product basis, I'm afraid. But you can define a different string for what appears on buyer statements (with some limitations based on what we can pass through). Rest assured that I have multi-product indie hackers as a prime use case for multi-account!

Hey @ragingfartcloud (incredible handle) - to help clarify from the Paddle side for this, we show both in the sub welcome email to the buyer. But product name is given real prominence, we're conscious that it's a delicate balance in showing the right information for both Seller and Buyer. Let me know if you want to talk about it - I've been spending some time thinking about how to make some broader improvements to these emails, so it works nicely as a discussion. Also, on the multiple accounts side, I'm not happy with how that works right now. So I'm doing what I like to do best, which is fix that!

@PageSection @PaddleHQ Okay - worth a go! I'm going to push up this bug fix - but in the meantime, I'd say that my only other recommendation would be to replace this with a new price. Again, appreciate that this is imperfect for the moment.
