#SupremeCourt directions in the stray dogs case : 1. States must effectively implement ABC measures. 2. At least one functional ABC centre must be there in each district. 3. Directions to remove dogs from premises of schools, colleges, bus stands, hospitals, railway stations, sports complexes etc., must be enforced. Those dogs can't be released to the same spot after vaccination. Authorities can decide if these directions should be expanded to other public places. 4. Adequate supply of anti-rabies vaccines must be ensured in all Govt facilities. 5. Authorities may euthanise rabid, aggressive and incurably ill dogs as per statutory protocol in places where the number of stray dogs has assumed alarming proportions. 6. No FIR or criminal complaint be registered against officers who are acting as per the Court's directions in good faith. 7. NHAI to ensure highways are free from cattle. 8. High Courts must register a suo motu case to continue monitoring the implementation of the directions. 9. Greater Bengaluru Authority will launch 'My e-Khata, My Hakku' campaign on May 16 across 52 locations in Bengaluru. Under the 100-day 'Bhu Guarantee' scheme, citizens converting B-Khata to A-Khata will pay 2% guidance value instead of 5%. Over 23 lakh property records have been digitised.
