As part of Public Health Youth Engagement Program on Menstrual Hygiene, held at Berhampur University recently, students, faculty, research scholars, and delegates came together to paint a red dot on their palms - a united stand to break the silence around periods. This powerful gesture, known as the #RedDotChallenge, highlights the urgent need to end stigma, promote menstrual hygiene, and ensure that every girl & woman can manage her period with confidence and dignity. What began as a gesture inside university walls echoed far beyond - carrying the message from classrooms to communities, from raised hands to every doorstep.
