@MrAdnanRashid Why would we be more welcoming and come to a common word with ahl ul kitaab and not offer the same to the Shia, especially if we take your paradigm of looking at them as a different religion altogether, akin to the Majoos (i.e. kuffaar, not even mubtadi'een)!?

The only common ground Sunnis and Shias share is the planet earth. Otherwise, there has never been common ground between the two religions. Neither politically nor religiously. Historically both camps pursued different destinies and visions. This is a fact, not hate.

@MikeBales I feel like there are more non-Muslims speaking abt the fear of sharia than Muslims pushing for sharia. Maybe non-Muslims have more hidden conviction for Islam than even Muslims do? Why the freak out?

Jews don’t eat bacon, but they don’t try to ban it for others. Mormons don’t drink coffee, but they don’t try to ban it for others. The Amish don’t use electricity, but they don’t try to shut down power plants. Islamism wants to force everyone to live under Sharia law.

@NancyMace So usage of the word terrorist necessarily refers to Muslims? This is evidence that there isnt a legal or widely accepted definition of the word but rather has become a propaganda term to promote an agenda.

@RealShahriqKhan So you looked at Jewish lore, read the Gospel, made some analogies abt a veil that is pertinent to jewish worship..and somehow Islam is to blame for this veil and a lack of connecting to Jesus?

When I was Muslim, I thought the Old Testament was just old Jewish history. Disconnected stories. Then I saw the thread. The high priest in Israel could only enter God’s presence once a year, behind a thick veil, with blood, and only after endless washing. The veil screamed: you cannot come in. Access denied. Leviticus 16. That veil stood for 1,500 years. A wall between God and man. Then Jesus died. And the Gospel records that at the exact moment He died, that veil ripped. Top to bottom. Matthew 27:51. Top to bottom, because no man could reach the top. Only God could tear it, and He tore it from His side. And here’s the part that undid me. For 1,500 years the message was STAY OUT. Jesus died and the message became COME IN. Islam kept me behind a veil, washing, performing, hoping to get close. The cross tore the veil so I could walk straight in to Heaven with Christ himself. What a crazy love story,

@SharrellAnne2 @Tristians_Point You realize that is exactly the misguided thought process that leads the victims of Israeli aggression to direct their grievances against the US? To them, their loved ones were killed by a US-backed militia in occupied Palestine. Does the distinction w/o a diff matter then?

That screenshot only works if you pretend proxy warfare doesn’t exist. Iran’s regime has spent decades using militias to do its dirty work while maintaining plausible deniability. My husband didn’t die for Israel. He was killed by an Iranian-backed militia in Iraq. Trying to separate the regime from the people it armed, funded, and directed is a distinction without a difference to the families they left behind.

Do you have any idea how grossly disrespectful this is to the families of the fallen? My husband came home draped in an AMERICAN flag. He didn’t die for Israel. He died protecting the men to his left and his right, defending the country he loved more than he loved himself, and trying to make sure his family back home remained free. That’s what all of America’s combat fallen did. They served one another. They served this nation. Reducing their sacrifice to “they died for Israel” isn’t just historically dishonest, it’s deeply insulting to the people who wore the uniform and to the families who still carry their legacy every day. Debate our foreign policy all you want. Debate whether a war was worth fighting. But using images of flag-draped coffins as a political prop while rewriting why these Americans served is both deceitful and gross. Our fallen deserve better than to have their sacrifice twisted into a meme.

HAMAS BURNT HER TO DEATH Shani Gabay (25) was shot in the leg then burned to death in the October 7th terror attack. Her body was so badly burned by Hamas that her body melted into another women's body, causing a tragic mix-up no parent should ever have to endure onto of losing their child. As long as her family is still hurting for her loss, we will remember her. 🕯️Shani Gabay This is a true story. Google it. Copy and paste this for your own social media accounts. Don't let Shani's light go out.

You don’t see pictures like this coming out of Israel. You don’t see Jews executing Arabs at point-blank range. Yet the propaganda has been so effective that millions of people believe that’s exactly what happens. Palestinians will stab Jews for absolutely no reason, shoot innocent people at point-blank range, and hunt Jews in towns and villages, killing men, women, the elderly, and children. This is something you never hear Israelis do, yet millions believe the lies. The power of propaganda is not measured by how often a lie is told, but by how many people come to accept it as truth. Even Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels wasn’t as successful at propaganda or spreading lies as the Palestinians have been. Shameless barbarians.

Nearly 2 million Muslims live in Israel. Fewer than 10,000 Jews remain in the entire Arab world, down from roughly 850,000 at its peak. Yet Israel is the country accused of apartheid.

My prediction: AOC will run for president, and Zohran Mamdani will replace Chuck Schumer in the Senate. Some Republicans are cheering that our opponents are crazy. I’m not. This is bad for America. I may disagree with Democrats on taxes and regulations, but this country needs two parties that actually love America.

@korrathetaymi Okay perfect! So the Hajj can be any kind of pilgrimage. This means that, according to you, anyone who affirms monotheism (any one god), prays (to this god), gives to charity, fasts, and takes a pilgrimage anywhere is completing the Five Pillars OF ISLAM, right?

Let’s give David a free lesson. The Hebrew verb יָחֹגּוּ (yaḥoggû) in Exodus 5:1 comes from the Semitic root ח־ג־ג (ḥ-g-g)—the same root as the Arabic ḥajj (حج). So when Moses tells Pharaoh, “Let my people go,” he’s asking permission for the Israelites to go on a pilgrimage/festival of worship to God. No one claimed they were going to Mecca. That’s a straw man. Different prophetic laws (sharīʿahs) can prescribe pilgrimage to different locations. The linguistic point is about the shared Semitic root—not the destination. You learn something new every day, no matter how old you are!
