Artificial dopamine is ruining your life more than any other drug, cope, or addiction. The scrolling, the binging, the escaping. It is eating away at your grey matter. You are exposing yourself to more stimulation a day than your great grandfather would get in a lifetime. You have rewired your brain. Reading a book after doomscrolling is like eating brocolli after an entire box of pop tarts. You have given yourself cognitive obesity. Dopamine is insulin, and you my friend are a diabetic.
