@StephenRhB @paul_winginit It's often the case that reservations would be available if honoured during disruption, but you should never pay any extra as your original ticket would definitely remain valid.

@paul_winginit Yeah I asked them to reserve a seat on the earlier one but they said there was no seats apparently, given the fact they had cancelled numerous services and I was coming via E* I didn't want to risk the usual Euston mayhem on steroids. I've emailed them for a refund anyway.

@NotYOLOSmh Ticket machine doesn’t even have to be broken, just not cooperating. Using an avanti machine to buy a ticket for a tpe train will often result in an error. The machine tries (and fails) to make a seat reservation automatically with no manual override even for an open ticket

If ticket offices close how will: 1. People get assistance if they are disabled 2. People get a ticket if the ticket machine is broken Can't think of anything else, feel free to add onto this

@NotYOLOSmh also if all stations become unstaffed it will attract fare dodging and stations will become unsafe after a certain time say after 6pm
