Triste, frustrado e desiludido.

3 months of my internship is over i.e. 50% is over. It is indeed in all terms a crazy experience, thought I would share my learnings here working in a very fast paced team. > internship doesn't mean you can just goof around, you need to put in the efforts and a lot. Now this might not be true for big MNCs but at least most fast paced startups it is. I regularly work 11-12 hours in the office. > Everyone is so smart here. With big credentials, be it IIT Bombay, cracked devs, CMs on coding platforms etc etc, but you never underestimate yourself and know that you are on the same level as them. > You will feel overwhelmed at first but just hang on with time, you get used to the codebase. Also a lot depends on how helpful your seniors are. > I have merged 15+ PRs into production till now, don't remember the exact count, been working on some core features right now, learning a lot about finances, trading, stock market, options futures limit stoploss iceberg orders etc etc > I've made some reason nice friends in the internship as a matter of fact tweeting this from their flat rn lmao crashed out last night after the party. > Also, remember everyone is there to win, so never hesitate before asking anything be it doubts or be it something you need, coz if you don't, the other intern will. > And don't forget to party hard on weekends. That's the fun part. > try to take a flat nearby office unlike creatures like me, giving so much time to travel ain't worth it Cool, let's see how the next half of my internship goes.
