Yep, that why the democrats have had control of the state since the 80’s. It’s pretty crazy to think that this state being so rural is so far left. I’ve only been living here since 2021 and it’s kind of jaw dropping how terrible the quality of life is here. The biggest mistake I ever made was moving here.

Well I’ll tell ya as someone who’s observed this from the inside. Republicans have been told and have regurgitated “voting doesn’t matter, nothing will change” or “vote for who, seems like they’re just Backstabbers” Then the old guard republicans come along and push their candidate, 90% of the time they all already know who they’re backing, the PCPs who bust their asses for candidates and do all the work are frustrated when their county only pushes one candidate. My friend David Medina comes along and is a threat to the establishment, country club and they push the narrative of J6. Hard. Guys like Ed Diehl push deceptive videos depicting Drazan dropping out of the last election because she didn’t get the nod. Now he’s bitching about Drazans ethics. Drazan comes across as vanilla, but she also sided with dems to block criminal mugshots on bookings. She’s also sided with dems a few times BUT Diehl has said he will work across the aisle? So just those things as an example make Republican voters lazy and candidates and the ORP just don’t get voters don’t want that, just fucking be normal (most people view it as attacks, I view it as politics and shrug it off) the average voter then receives all the mailers and fliers, starts doing their research and then get hit with a wave of bullshit when they see all of the above. Their ballots the man just sit there and regardless of telling people every vote matters (it does because it forces the Dems to have to recover, even though miraculously they have continued basis point turn outs that are higher) Dems live the fighting, republicans don’t.
