the age of the retard is upon us. this means: -narrative is all that matters -the more retarded something is, the more it is mentioned, the more it will go up -the dollar is going to zero with haste -the *real economy* is in a recession which means that stocks receive a vice premium (like porn, gambling, cigarettes) now that retail has broad access -common sense is out the window -if you think you have a great common sense idea like shorting quantum.. countertrade yourself

it is more dangerous ‼️ to be short zero revenue strip mall HQ stocks than anything common sense the age of the retard is upon us. this means: -narrative is all that matters -the more retarded something is, the more it is mentioned, the more it will go up -the dollar is going to zero with haste and the *real economy* is in a recession which means that stocks receive a vice premium (like porn, gambling, cigarettes) now that retail has broad access -common sense is out the window

$OKLO - Another generational short opportunity The reality of this $20 billion dollar company. Their whole office is smaller than a Wendy's. I am short this stupid bubble!

@patrickc same thing that's going wrong in Ireland buddy. Will to invent cannot coexist with nationwide demoralization.

What’s the best thing written about why the remarkably vigorous and inventive France of the 70s and 80s (TGV, Minitel, Ariane, Rafale, Concorde, the world’s preeminent nuclear grid…) has not been nearly as visible in the 21st century? What went wrong?

Sequoia's Chief Product Officer, @jesskah, won't hire well-rounded people. She looks for a "spikes" in 1 of 4 traits that predict success: • EQ: One-on-one people skills • IQ: Raw intellectual horsepower • PQ: Ability to navigate politics/systems • JQ: Judgment on decisions that matter In this week's episode of The Library of Minds, we went deep on how this framework shaped her journey from Google PM to Polyvore CEO to Sequoia’s Chief Product Officer. Jess explains why velocity is the strongest early predictor of product-market fit, how choosing the wrong business model was her biggest mistake as a founder, and why she now believes AI will spark a new wave of consumer media. 00:00 Intro 1:00 Who is Jess Lee 02:50 The EQ / IQ / PQ / JQ framework 03:44 What early Google taught her 05:35 When ambition becomes a weakness 07:34 Customer discovery vs visionary intuition 09:31 Polyvore: from user → CEO 12:37 Imposter syndrome & finding authentic leadership 15:20 Picking the wrong market 18:24 Firing fast & setting high performance bars 20:12 Building cult-like community and emotional loyalty 22:13 Velocity vs delight in product 24:32 What she looks for in founders (turn-based velocity) 25:59 The business model wake-up call 27:27 Storytelling as a founding superpower 28:26 Hot take: consumer isn’t dead, it’s being reborn 31:50 AI-generated media, fanfic, and the next YouTube Grateful to be working with her at @withdelphi !

bro glazed @nikitabier for a 5 paragraph essay and only got 8 likes in 4 hours if yr not gonna juice the algo on Nikita glazing then what's the point @nikitabier
Raad@Raadmobrem

I've known @nikitabier for five years and we’ve gotten even more close because of @useintro during the past two. He is the real deal. He’s changed a lot of lives by advising through Intro. I’ve seen it first hand. Taking on the Head of Product role at X is no small feat. Impressively, with a small team (<10), bold action, and taste, he and @elonmusk are steering X back to the 2010s glory days. A small team with taste and the right pulse on the zeitgeist reduces the need for endless A/B testing. They just know what to build and how to build it. I'm glad @elonmusk saved X and hired Nikita. The platform is finally making all of the right moves which will set the foundation to it becoming the everything app in the near future.

Ok yes I concede that if you can time a raise around a sector wide downturn correctly then having cash > equity to a point. Doesn't make t-bills a good use-case for cash raised. Mr replit spent his raise on T-bills and has lost to cursor & lovable in % marketshare despite being earlier to the category. Case in point

@RetardFO @amasad Thanks 🙏 always welcome prayer haha And yes they can but surely you agree what they can raise will massively vary based on WHEN they raise? Raise money before dot com bubble crash or raise money after. 🤔 hmm

@RetardFO @amasad When the dominoes fall/wider bubble pops, cash is still king. Try raising equity then. Name indeed checking out.
