@CinemaTweets1 Ngl gladiator is kinda ass and has aged terribly. Some downright awful scenes showcasing Ridley Scott’s trademark laziness as a director
English

The Odyssey’s scope, scale & magnitude reminds me of Gladiator. I’m too young to have seen Gladiator in theaters & I don’t know what the immediate reaction to it was at the time in 2000, but in terms of swords & sandals, I don’t know if I’ve seen a film compare to Gladiator other than The Odyssey. Both films are on another level separate from Troy. And both feature exceptional leading performances.

@leevalueroach After his Trump support, his bank roll is done
He’s yesterdays news 📰
Adios

If I were Elon Musk, I'd roll up the entire steel industry.
Step 1: Buy Cleveland-Cliffs. Instantly control ~60% of US blast furnace capacity.
Step 2: Vertically integrate — feed cheap steel straight into Tesla.
Step 3: Use my bottomless bank account to sell steel below cost to everyone else. Nippon just paid $15B for US Steel? Bleed them dry. I can run at a loss forever. They can't.
Step 4: When they go bankrupt, buy the scraps. Now I'm Andrew Carnegie with a Twitter account.
Step 5: Jack prices 20x for Ford and GM while supplying myself at cost. Their cars get more expensive. Mine don't.
Endgame: 100% of steel. 100% of autos. One rollup, two monopolies.

@strong30284 @jasonrmcintyre That type of garbage flopping should have you kicked out of the league . It’s the absolute worst part of soccer
English

@jasonrmcintyre When you consider that the play was in the middle of the pitch, not in the box looking for a penalty, not even close to the box looking for a good free kick, it’s absolutely insane that he was given a second yellow card for that
English

Yes he dove
It’s the quarterfinals
You cannot eject someone for that and give a team that big an edge
Such nonsense

After a VAR review, Embolo is sent off with his second yellow for simulation 🟥

@Rjmelvil @amber114435 @Phantom_TheGame @esjesjesj It doesn't actually work. At least not the blowing on it thing. Its the taking the cartridge out and putting it back in that works. Most of the time it was kids failing to seat the cartridge correctly.
English

@roninmercllc @Phantom_TheGame @esjesjesj You're batting 1000 today, is there anything you actually are right about? serious question

English

@esjesjesj I distinctly remember everyone knowing that this didnt work but doing it anyway for the whimsy of it.

Health Insurance (self employed) is such a joke.
We pay around $3500 a month for 4 people
Son went to the ER after a bike crash, no major tests or scans, basic blood work and exam. There an hour.
They billed $2800 ON TOP on a $500 co-pay and our insurance covered $568
It's so easy to see how medical bills bankrupt people. I am $9,000 OUT OF POCKET PLUS $3500 a month SO FAR in 2026 - maddening

@h_th14 @realEstateTrent The tell is “that’s not just blah blah blah it’s a complete blah blah blah “

@realEstateTrent "Nobody is" and emojis as bullet points are becoming two immediate tells of it as everyone prompts out use of the em dash

11) Pro sports games. You waste 4+ hours, buy $18 drinks, and stare at the big screen. Better at home
12) Netflix sucks. Just read a book
13) New watches. Any coveted watch is in the secondary market
14) DisneyWorld. (My kids had more fun at a country club staycation.)

16) A college degree
17) High-end skincare
18) Private school tuition (I went to Choate. If my kids weren't expelled, I would be embarrassed.)

What is expensive but no longer worth it?

@lamagiadeMagic @alexmarketx makes no sense for the buyer to pay commission when the value created is for the seller. their interest is INCREASING your cost to buy
English

@wheresdrogon @CollinRugg There’s plenty of room
In prison . People say it’s overcrowded meaning they want less people in it
English

@CollinRugg Honestly, I like the idea of Spencer being mayor. But what exactly are you deploying? What force? Where are you putting people with overcrowded prisons? This sounds great until you think about logistics.

NEW: Spencer Pratt says he will be implementing a three-week 'grace period' in Los Angeles before he unleashes on criminals.
Pratt says he will also be bringing in the CDC to combat the "medieval diseases" his city has.
"My plan is: First three weeks, signs up across the city. No more nakedness, no more drug use, no more robbing, no more dog abuse."
"Then once we start enforcing laws, boom, streets will be back..."
"People are just living in feces and drug use and dogs burning... We need these streets cleaned."

@seandsweeney you may have started that conversation WHILE you were in an old conversation - so if you look back through your other conversations (maybe its labeled my lawn care) then it might be on that one
