Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring. They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died. France also gave us this land as American soil. #MemorialDayWeekend

Do not fail to read the post from President Trump this AM. There will be scores of books written about this war, even as there were in the aftermath of the Cuban Missile Crisis, Vietnam etc. This post by the President will figure prominently in the best of those books.

@realDonaldTrump has given the world a class in how a “peace-through-strength” “America First” foreign policy works. First, “strength” & then if the adversary will have it, “peace.”

A feature of this type of campaign & the premise of the reported deal is “the expectation that, after the initial withdrawal of forces, military action may again be necessary in a similar manner if the wrongdoer does not change its behavior.” Again, as reported, @USNavy & @usairforce remain on station until the nuclear materials are gone.

@POTUS @realDonaldTrump will end the punitive expedition ‘Epic Fury’ on American terms on his time frame as @ArthurLHerman & I predicted last month.
