For more than a week, I’ve held my tongue—listening deeply, wrestling with my thoughts, and letting the weight of it all sink in. But silence has its limits. Today, I open my heart and speak. I am overwhelmed with sorrow and righteous anger over the senseless, brutal murder of Charlie Kirk. Charlie was a fearless voice for truth, a man gifted with the rare ability to proclaim the Gospel with unyielding conviction, even as he faced the misguided academic elites poisoning our universities. He stood tall—a beacon of courage for a generation that refuses to be silenced. Never harsh or cruel, Charlie wove together deep compassion, sharp intellect, and unshakable hope to defend truth and inspire countless believers like me. For over a decade, Charlie built a movement that shines light into the darkest corners of spiritual and cultural decay. His legacy lives on in that radiant mission. My heart breaks for Erika, their children, the Turning Point family, and everyone touched by his extraordinary life. I pray they carry his torch forward with the same bold courage, boundless kindness, and fierce compassion that defined him. But it’s agonizing to see the venom flooding social media—posts from self-proclaimed progressives celebrating the assassination of a man who devoted his life to hope and truth. This isn’t just the work of a hateful few; it’s a wave of malice from those who mock, cheer, and toast to the bullet that stole him. It reveals a culture rotting under division and cruelty. Even worse is the betrayal from those who should uphold decency. Some left-leaning media outlets have twisted this tragedy, downplaying its horror while dredging up baseless smears to paint Charlie’s bold stand for faith and freedom as somehow deserving of this fate. The silence—or worse, subtle endorsements—from Democratic leaders feels like complicity, turning a national tragedy into a partisan weapon, as if political violence is now a tool they accept. Most heartbreaking of all is the poison coming from some pulpits—ministers who should embody the Gospel but instead spread lies, falsely labeling Charlie a racist or bigot to justify this horrific act. This isn’t faith; it’s hypocrisy dressed in religious robes, a betrayal of the Gospel Charlie proclaimed so boldly. It’s unacceptable, and it fuels the darkness that took him, dragging souls deeper into despair. We cannot let this stand. Charlie’s light exposed the shadows, and now we must carry his fire, standing firm against the darkness with unrelenting resolve. I pray for justice, for healing, and for a nation that remembers what it means to be human. To those celebrating this evil, hear this: your actions condemn you. ( the only hope you have is to repent and get your heart right with God.) My heart also aches for the tragedy in Charlotte, North Carolina, where Iryna Zarutska was brutally murdered on a crowded light-rail train. Bystanders watched her die, doing nothing—no one stepped in, no one helped. This cold indifference sickens me. It’s a stark reminder of how numb we’ve become, choosing safety over courage. This isn’t just a tragedy; it’s a call to action. We cannot let apathy define us. We must pray, act, care, and fight to reclaim our shared humanity. I may lose supporters for my ministry, but I will always speak to the truth!

“If the family isn’t concerned and the church shows little urgency about a soul’s eternal salvation, why should I be up at night praying, interceding, and carrying the weight in my spirit? Yet something in me refuses to let go. Because love doesn’t wait for others to care first. The heart of the Father still breaks for the lost — and sometimes He calls one of us to stand in the gap when no one else will. Lord, give me the grace to keep praying even when I feel alone in it… because one day, that soul may thank me in eternity.” One thing my mom taught me always stand for what is true, even if you have to stand alone… #church #family #prayer #Godisgood #trendingnow #viralpost

Choose Your Friends Wisely Ungodly friendships can slowly lead you away from God and straight toward destruction. I’ve learned this through painful experience in my own life: some people claim to be Christians, but their hearts are far from Him. They don’t come to build you up — they come to tear you down and destroy what God is doing in your life. Here is the wisdom we need: Walk in humility. Swallow your pride, humble yourself, and ask for forgiveness. When you do, strongholds crumble, walls come tumbling down, and bridges of restoration are built. Asking for forgiveness heals the deep wounds of anger, frees the heart from bitterness, and opens the door for God’s peace to flow once again. “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23) Choose friends who draw you closer to Jesus, not farther away. And when you’ve been hurt, choose the healing path — the path of humility and forgiveness. God honors a humble heart. He restores what was broken. He makes all things new. Who in your life needs to hear this today? Share it and be a blessing. 🙏 Pastor Dr. Rodney Evans Rodney Evans Ministries

The Bible provides us with an advantage in every department of life-family, business, and personal relationships. It is profitable because it reflects the wisdom of God: and when we abide by its teachings, we learn to live in peace. God is great in the powerful name of Jesus Amen. Enjoy your day

Today is my birthday, and what a gift it is! I had the incredible privilege of the world-famous, galaxy-renowned Prince Baby Hayden Thomas spending the night. Waking up to his sweet smile this morning made it perfect before the day even started. 😎 My phone has been lighting up all morning with texts and calls from family and friends wishing me a happy birthday. Thank you all so much! I say it every year, but it’s always true: Coach Jimmy V. was right when he said, “If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that’s a full day. That’s a heck of a day.” Today, I’ve done all three, and my heart is full. I’m so thankful for my beautiful family — especially my wife Teresa, our sons Jordan and Jarrod, and their wonderful wives Ashley and Alyssa. And of course, our little man, Hayden. You all mean more to me than words could ever express. You are my greatest blessings. July 10th also brings precious memories of two very special people who shared this same birthday and made a huge impact on my life. Jennifer Kozee… I always called you my birthday present. From the moment you were born, you brought so much joy to everyone around you — especially me. I miss you deeply, especially today. 😭 Mike Smith… A true friend I met when I first moved to North Carolina. For years we stayed in touch, checking on each other’s families, bragging on our kids, spouses, and grandkids. Those conversations meant the world to me. I miss you, brother. 😭 Even though we miss you both and the tears still come, we celebrate knowing you are in God’s glorious presence — smiling, whole, and with hearts overflowing with joy. I’m striving every day to make you both proud. Please know you are loved, remembered, and deeply cherished. I wish you both the happiest of birthdays in Heaven.

Week of July 6, 1776: **In Lower Manhattan, Washington orders the Declaration read to troops as, just five miles south, the British invasion of Staten Island continues. **In New York City's oldest park, patriots topple a 4,400-pound statue of George III, hack off its head, and impale it outside a local tavern.

Hi Friends, Don’t waste another day in the graveyard of guilt, surrounded by the decaying corpses of your past. It stinketh by now—leave it buried! God’s mercy is more than enough. His grace is greater than any failure, any regret, and any mistake you’ve ever made. Today I am standing in agreement with you in prayer. Get ready! The hand of God is moving on your behalf to bring divine intervention and breathe fresh life into every area of your life. In Jesus’ name! Remember this: When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him! He will not prevail against you. The victory belongs to the Lord! Have a blessed and victorious day!

I know through God that everything is — and will be — all right! 🙏✨ I also know that Jelly Roll’s song “I Am Not OK” is speaking to so many hearts right now… and yes, I’ve been there too. (Garrett Hornbuckle’s “Out of My Head” was another song the Lord used to begin my own healing journey.) If you’re feeling disheartened, discouraged, let down, abandoned, or weary from life’s battles, please hear this: you are not alone. I’m lifting you up in prayer today. While I pray for you, I humbly ask — would you please pray for me as well? Two years ago, our lives were changed forever by a painful experience. It taught me a powerful lesson: be very careful who you look up to, admire, and place your faith in. The first part was mine — I had to choose to forgive. As my pastor reminded me, praise and worship became my way out. I had to protect my heart and keep it pure before the Lord. (Forgiveness doesn’t mean you accept what happened or will tolerate it. It means you’ve released it to God so you can walk forward in freedom.) The rest is between them and the Lord. True freedom comes only when we admit the truth, ask God’s forgiveness, and seek forgiveness from those we’ve hurt. God is still on the throne, and He is faithful. He turns our tests into testimonies and our pain into purpose. Let’s keep trusting Him together! This song has been such a blessing to me! I pray it ministers to you as well: youtu.be/37wV6D49iEY?is…
