🚨 The Curious Case of IAS Officer Pooja Singhal.🧵
Pooja Singhal, a 2000-batch IAS officer of Jharkhand cadre, once hailed as a young achiever who cracked UPSC at 21, has one of the most controversial careers in Indian bureaucracy.
Here’s the story. ⬇️
This is the condition of civic sense in India. A person openly urinating on the road after stopping his car, disrupting traffic and causing public inconvenience.
@dtptraffic@gurgaonpolice can we have any action? His number plate is clearly visible.
Day 1 of the AI Impact Summit turned to be a pain for us.
I came genuinely excited, it was the first time the summit was being hosted in India, and I wanted to show up personally to support the ecosystem and the government’s push.
But what happened next was shocking.
At 12 noon, security personnel arrived to sanitise and cordon off the area ahead of the visit by PM Modi visit at 2pm.
I explained that we’re building India’s first patented AI wearable at NeoSapien and requested a chance to showcase it.
One officer told others to let me stay, and they left.
Then another group came and ordered us to leave immediately. Seemed like there was lack of co-ordination between the security itself.
I asked: “Should we take our wearables?”
They said, others are leaving even laptops behind, security will take care.
Trusting them, I left. Hoping that the wearables will be safe, and If I am lucky, it might catch the eye of PM Modi.
Gates were closed from 12–6pm. Much much longer than expected.
Later we found out that our wearables were stolen.
Think about this: We paid for flights, accommodation, logistics and even the booth. Only to see our wearables disappear inside a high-security zone.
If only security and official entourage had access, how did this happen?
This is extremely disappointing.
Taxes like America,
Services like Somalia.
Abhishek Banerjee questions Nirmala Sitaraman on taxation.
She accused him of lying and misleading the Parliament.
He comes back with data, facts & figures.

Hey @amazonIN how do I contact you?
The app is not giving me option to chat with Amazon.
This is the second time my order shows FALSE DELIVERY ATTEMPTED on my order. The order is dispatched via @IndiaPostOffice and the delivery attempted time shows 11:19PM! Which @IndiaPostOffice delivery agent work at midnight? This is a #scam and #Amazon is not even letting me escalate it in app.
Where is mu order?
The lovely monopolostic beast that @IndiGo6E is - has sent voucher codes to all those (including me) impacted by the flight cancellation fiasco in December... but also changed the website UI in a way that you can't redeem those vouchers, or pay for a ticket via them! Crazy!
"Zero civic sense in India." 🤡🇮🇳
A group of social activists was cleaning a public place to spread awareness. Suddenly, a man spat right where they'd just cleaned.
When confronted, they started fighting with the volunteers. Such shameless behavior.
Swati Maliwal exposed the hospital loot in Parliament. And she is absolutely right.
₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh advance before admission
Room rent costlier than 5 star hotels
Outside lab tests rejected
Medicines sold at full MRP only
Even masks, gloves, sanitizer added to the bill
This is not healthcare.
This is legalized extortion.
Patients are treated like customers, not humans.
Make the Clinical Establishments Act 2010 mandatory nationwide.
Hospitals should heal people, not bankrupt families.
Hello @MumbaiPolice . Its past 12 and this people are bursting firecrackers? Is this allowed? Video have noted their car numbers. They are also drunk. Please take a swift action. @CPMumbaiPolice
What happened on that stage isn’t just about one incident or one politician . It reflects the broader mindset that has seeped deep into our political culture across India.
A guard collapsed right in front of them, yet the speech continued as if nothing had happened. Not a single leader paused, stepped forward, or even showed basic human concern. And that is exactly the problem.
This is the attitude we face every day as citizens — whether we are taxpayers, middle class, lower middle class, or simply people trying to live with dignity. When it comes to corruption, environmental issues, hunger, unemployment, water scarcity, or public safety, the response is always the same: silence, indifference, and complete disconnect from the people they claim to represent.
For them, we are not citizens- we are a crowd to clap, a vote bank to target, and a number to boast about. They walk and behave like kings, while we are expected to endure everything quietly like beggars. Our issues don’t move them, our struggles don’t matter, and our voices are ignored until election season arrives.
This small moment on stage tells the larger truth:
Publicity matters more than humanity. Power matters more than people. Money matters more than morality.
And unless this mindset changes, incidents like these will continue to expose the gap between those who rule and those who are ruled.
