@RCN_NI It is unbelievable that once again our members could be forced to take industrial action to get a pay rise. They have worked tirelessly in a broken system to try to deliver for patients . Their reward ? No payrise yet and a suggestion they may have to accept less. Just No

@RCN_NI members are alarmed to learn that @healthdpt may not be able to maintain pay parity with the rest of the UK. This would be a breach of assurances made by the Executive in 2020 and will have serious consequences for the health service this winter. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@RCN_NI @healthdpt RCN members are already feeling undervalued as they struggle to deliver care within an under resourced system. To hear that once again we may lose pay parity with UK colleagues has been met with disbelief. If this situation is not resolved the consequences will be dire.
