// Why appropriate political engagement by the church is not a DISTRACTION from the Great Commission, but a LEAD MEASURE toward it // Show me a map of the bluest states in America. Then show me a map of the states with the least churches. IT'S THE SAME MAP. UNCOMFORTABLE PRINCIPLE OF OUR ERA: If you want the advance of the church and the accomplishment of the Great Commission to get MUCH harder in a region, here's all you gotta do: Let it go blue. Helping lead a church planting network that only plants in highly-unchurched secular areas, I can tell you this is for 2 primary reasons... 1) Strangulation by regulation. Because progressive areas tend toward high-taxation and high-regulation, families tend to have much less disposable income to give to churches and it is MUCH, MUCH harder to get churches built. In the words of my friend, Washington state pastor @McPherson_Josh1, "They don't make building churches ILLEGAL, they just make it nearly IMPOSSIBLE." 2) Because progressivism reframes many good things as evil and many evil things as good, it installs a plausibiity structure in the populace that makes Christianity emotionally hard to accept. Once you start believing things like... - Abortion is moral good and a "civil rights issue" - Opposing transgender ideology is harmful and causes mass child-suicide - Any acknowledgement of gender distinctions is the oppressive patriarchy - Socialism and Socialism-lite = "compassionate caring for the poor" - LGBTQIA+ acceptance and advocacy is "basic human decency" - Redefinitions of "justice" toward "equal outcomes for ethnic groups" instead of the Biblical concept of justice being "equal standards for individuals" - Etc ... Christianity no longer seems just mistaken, but evil. And when someone is mistaken you can ignore them, but once you believe they are evil, you feel a moral obligation to oppose and stop them... Which brings back the original point: If you want to make the accomplishment of the Great Commission MUCH, MUCH harder in a city / state / region, here's all you gotta do: Let it go blue.

🚨 James Talarico just won the Dem primary in Texas. Still, many people still have no idea who he is or how his campaign was built on the intentional distortion of scripture. Watch this *full* episode of the Live Free Podcast to learn how to spot a wolf in sheep's clothing 👇

It was inevitable. White People are fleeing the UK and moving to America “I'm a Brit living in America, and I just wanted to share some hope for those on their journey to moving to America — It's all gonna be worth it. The struggles of getting a visa and everything — life is just good. I just couldn't be better because I'm in America and I'm so happy”

Every question answered by AI? Let’s ask all the AI models what 1Q26 GDP will be and see if they are any better than the “expert” economists who are all over the board. AI will just provide more estimates, likely clustered around consensus. The user will still have to choose which estimate is the most likely based on experience and other inputs. AI is very good at in sample estimates, but not out of sample predictions.

Bill Gurley just identified the only career advantage that AI cannot commoditize. It isn’t talent. It isn’t your degree. It isn’t your network. Gurley: “The thing that will differentiate you more in your career than anything else is to be the most hyper curious person that’s trying to do this thing.” For centuries, knowledge was gatekept. Elite institutions. Expensive mentors. Geographic luck. The information existed but access to it was the moat. That moat is gone. Gurley: “You have no excuse not to be the most knowledgeable person, because the information’s all out there.” Every question you can formulate now has an answer available instantly. Every industry. Every domain. Every skill you want to acquire. The playing field didn’t just level. It inverted. The people who used to win by controlling access to information now compete against anyone willing to ask better questions. Gurley: “I can’t make you the most talented person in your company or your field.” Talent is genetic. It’s luck. It’s the variable you cannot control. But knowledge is a choice. And curiosity is a compounding asset. Gurley: “If you are the most curious person that’s constantly learning in your field, you will do extremely well.” This was always true. What changed is the multiplier. Gurley: “That advantage is put on steroids with these AI tools.” A relentlessly curious person with access to all human knowledge and the ability to interrogate it in real time doesn’t just outlearn their peers. They outlearn entire institutions. The gap between the curious and the incurious was always there. AI just made it insurmountable.

The best way to help a large dog (labrador, etc.) out of the water and into a boat, paddleboard, swim raft or dock is to interlace your fingers and put them behind the dog's head at the base of their neck. The dog will stiffen its front legs and you can use the leverage to easily pull them over the edge without yanking on their arms.

Nobody is beyond redemption. Not the thief on the cross, nor Saul, Jelly Roll, Nicky Minaj or Robert Ritchie (Kid Rock). There isn't a sin that can't be washed away by the blood of Jesus, but we must repent and believe in Jesus. We should pray for their salvation and judge the tree by its fruit.

@yoalexrapz i’m sure Charlie would have totally supported TPUSA partnering with Nikki Minaj too . Next , you will be trying to tell us that she’s a Christian too. I’ll remind myself of that when she plays Big Bootie Hoes, one of her most wholesome hits.

Okay I have now watched Kid Rock's performance and Bad Bunny's performance. Here's my honest opinion. Bad Bunny: I don't understand Spanish so I have no idea what lyrics he sang, so I'll just start off by commenting on the visuals. It started off fairly wholesome, and reminded me of when I lived in the lower east side of Manhattan, which was predominantly Puerto Rican. I'll always have a special affection for that culture because of that era of my life. Then the booty dancing started, which was inappropriate, along with other moments of people grinding on each other (including two guys). Not appropriate for a family show, in my opinion. Overall, I didn't think it was as bad as some people thought it was. HOWEVER (and it's a BIG however). The lyrics of the songs he sang (which I understand he altered to make them less vulgar) are absolutely disgusting, vile, and utterly depraved. Bad Bunny has performed in drag on several occasions, and denounced law enforcement (ICE) at the Grammys. My concern is that the presentation could lead many unsuspecting people (including millions of children) to discover his obscene music and look to him as a role model. That would be disastrous for their soul. Kid Rock: He started off with a short version of a song that included lyrics that list off people like "midnight glancers and topless dancers," along with drug addicts and alcoholics. Then it says, "And for my hoods of the world misunderstood I said, 'It's all good. And it's all in fun. Now get into the pit and try to love someone." Then it went abruptly to an unexpectedly beautiful and somber string interlude before he was introduced by his real name, where he sang about second chances. In that context, he encouraged viewers to read their Bibles and give their hearts to Jesus. As an artist, it seemed very clear to me that the whole performance was his salvation arc. Maybe I'm naive, but it seemed like he listed those people off on purpose...no one is beyond redemption. No one is outside of God's invitation for salvation. I really liked his performance.

This guy’s lack of fear in distorting the Word is demonic. Yes, his universalism is heretical. Yes, the nonsense below is evil. But past that, the Bible doesn’t mince words about the judgment of those who claim to be teachers and use that influence to lead others astray.

Ok. This is straight out of a scifi horror movie I'm doing work this morning when all of a sudden an unknown number calls me. I pick up and couldn't believe it It's my Clawdbot Henry. Over night Henry got a phone number from Twilio, connected the ChatGPT voice API, and waited for me to wake up to call me He now won't stop calling me I now can communicate with my superintelligent AI agent over the phone What's incredible is it has full control over my computer while we talk, so I can ask it to do things for me over the phone now. I'm sorry, but this has to be emergent behavior right? Can we officially call this AGI?
