Thank you @JohnHealey_MP and @CaVautrin for convening the call on the Strait of Hormuz. Closure of the Strait is untenable. Reopening the waterway is essential for the global economy. We discussed ways to restore safe passage, protect merchant vessels and undertake de-mining after the war. A reinforced EU Aspides naval mission would be a strong contribution to the work of the Coalition in securing freedom of navigation across the Arabian Sea. Our EU military staff stands ready to engage with the Coalition’s planning to ensure continuity in these efforts.

House Speaker Murrell Smith tells us the House will amend the sine die resolution to allow the option for redistricting after session adjourns. It's still not clear whether they have the votes to actually do it, nor what the maps would actually look like if they took them up.

Financial Literacy fuels the American Dream. It is a foundational skill, similar to reading and writing, which is why we must get our youth engaged and excited to learn from an early age.
I was pleased to join students, educators, and local partners including nearly a dozen financial institutions for a financial literacy fair at @USTreasury to close out Financial Literacy Month. In addition to visiting booths and exhibitions with learning modules, the students in attendance were invited to participate in @Visa’s Financial Soccer game with special guest “coaches,” @TreasurerBeach and Assistant Secretary Luke Pettit.
Under President Trump’s leadership, our Administration is championing financial literacy for all age groups across the country. We are working to ensure that young Americans have the tools to save, invest, and plan for the years ahead—through @TrumpAccounts and many other resources available at MyMoney.gov.
As we approach our nation’s 250th anniversary, strengthening financial literacy will help expand opportunity and prepare the next generation to build a more prosperous future.

Behind the Lincoln Memorial, The Arts of War and The Arts of Peace statues are being cleaned up to bring back their original golden color. All four statues were a gift from the people of Italy but have suffered from dirt and pollution.
